Misstrader..Trader Beware !
My experience with this outfit was decidely NEGATIVE. There was no education here..just "follow my trades" was the idea. Almost all the trades in the the time I was there were losers from the 1st tick.Very unusual to have any equity in any position while I was there. After about 6 weeks in January and February 2011, I asked for a prorated refund. Mr Davio refused to honor my multiple requests for a pro rated settling up of the account..and continued to make losing calls day after day.
One of my biggest objections is how he would "blame the market" after these losing trades. He would also consistently add to losing positions so when he finally got stopped out, often 8-10 ES points from entry, the losses were substantial( 6 ES contracts typically). He personally told me that I should be willing to risk 10% of my total account on each trade. Having read Dr Brett and followed other traders, I know this is ludicrous.
eMiss Trade often( always) blamed POMO as the reason for his losses and would rant about "Mr Bernanke's shrunken testicles". I found this service to be very unprofessional on all fronts. It was always "the markets fault."
Many( almost all) of the trades seemed like guesses..again,the usual situation being to have no equity in the trade at all. I would plot the entries on my charts and they were just ridiculous locations..just terrible. When I would ask for clarification about the setup, what made the entry in his mind, he sent me charts showing only the timeframe after the entry. It was really frustrating and expensive to lose money on call after call.
He would also call a trade on a stock that was trading at 180 or higher..it is pretty clear that most subscribers do not have that kind of capitall in their account..so what is the point.
I explained in great detail to Mr Davio that I was looking for help, that I needed someone I could trust and count on to mentor me and help me with educated trades. I can only say this was completely not the case..No Help Whatsoever.
After explaining to Mr Davio that I had lost faith and could not afford to folow these losing calls, I asked for a prorated refund on my remaining approx 46 weeks of the years subscription. He refused, would not reply to my emails..and finally cut off the twitter feed...so I paid him for a year, lost money for 4 weeks in a row, quit following his calls, asked for a refund, got none and then he shut off the feed..so that is about as bad as it gets my friends. I paid for year and now do not even get the twitter feed..which may be just as well because his tweets were bullshit..("here;s my kids practicing piano").
Quick example..Egypt riots erupt, oil starts taking off at 89/barrel and goes almost vertical..Miss Trade calls a "short" ..is stopped out after never being in the green..and blames the "crazy market..that does not make sense".. I mean really..shorting oil for your subscribers accounts..gimme a break !
I would say this has been the worst customer service I have ever received and this trader was careless with my account..in short..IT WAS A TOTAL RIPOFF !
I highly suggest you think long and hard about committing funds to trade with someone so lacking in Integrity and Character..plus its a shitty service that teaches you nothing...and loses money.
I suggested to Mr Davio we reach an agreement on a partial refund so that I would not need to write a review like this one...and he declined on more than 4 occasions..so here is the naked truth. I would not trust this guy with $5 to go get beer. TRADER BEWARE !
