Marcello is the ultimate sensei!

I found out about Marcello through his WanderingTrader YT channel. I checked out his blog(which is awesome) and then found out about the DTA. Now let me tell you that at this point I had 0 prior experience about trading. The only thing I knew was is that one needs to be wary, because the trading program market is filled with scammers and false promises. Wanting to live the exact same lifestyle as Marcello for basically ever since I was a young teenager and sharing Marcello's philosophy I took the plunge and made the investment. The initial price was relatively steep for a poor student like me(but definitely cut-rate compared to other programs), but I figured: Hey, if I am going to join any trading program then it should be with Marcello's, since this guy is probably the most honest and transparent trader out there. Fast forward almost three months and I haven't made a single regret. His whole focus lies on being able to read the market and that tons of fancy expensive indicators are not going to cut it. He is honest, straight-forward, but at the same time jokingly and young at heart. Put simply: He comes across as genuine(which I am more than convinced of by now). After having paid the initial price for the curriculum, prolonging your subscription is done at a ridiculous low fee and by then the value for your money goes through the roof. The classes are extremely fun and it is amazing to watch his magic first-hand. You can also contact him any day of the week to have him review your charts.

I am planning to stay with Marcello for a long time. If trading doesn't work out for me with him I am pretty sure it will not work out with anyone else.

Day Trading System, Training & Coaching

Marcello is a terrific teacher who can give clear explanations of how and why he expects the market to move. His system uses simple indicators and trade setups that give an edge in getting into trades. In his webinars (2 or 3 a week) he can explain applying his system in real time, so this is not some backward looking interpretation of the market. You can see he knows the probabilities for winning trades and can share his way of looking at market action.

Marcello offers daily recaps of how the Day Trading Academy system would have worked out and these are very educational. There is a curriculum to follow also in mastering the trade setups. He is also always willing to give feedback and encourages sending in trades for the week and will respond with a personalized video.

There are a number of traders who have been trained by Marcello who also conduct classes and give assurance that what he is teaching actually works for those with perseverance. Some of these traders also help suggest new setups that get tested and introduced. So this is a dynamic system with several minds being applied to it.

In summary I would say Marcello has a loyal following. For the good reason he is competent and a fun person to spend time with.

Fair Representation Of Learning How To Day Trade

I have been with Marcello and The Day Trading Academy for quite some time now. I actually was with Marcello when he was part of another company in the industry. I left the previous company because it started to turn into the often known "software based platform" rather than understand true market principles. I have seen the DTA program and techniques progress from when we first asked Marcello to assist us in our trading endeavors. I do have to thank Marcello for making me profitable.

One of the things I have appreciated from Marcello and DTA is not feeling like another number or wallet. I purchased quite a number of years ago and have hit a rut in my trading and expressed interest in rejoining the program in a coaching student capacity. I have been trading live profitably now for a number of years. Instead of just asking for more money Marcello requested that I leave an honest review on Investimonials in exchange for more time. Wanted to mention that in full disclosure that he did ask me to leave an honest testimonial. One of the things I really appreciate about the company is it's honesty and willingness to help traders rather than just trying to charge every penny when it comes providing more services and extra training.

The community and mentality towards training is what sets DTA apart from the rest. There are a large handful of profitable student traders that help teach the program. We have a small group of profitable traders as well that don't attend classes anymore (other than myself). I suspect most of the profitable traders don't attend classes anymore as they are out enjoying life as Marcello shows on his DTA and WanderingTrader Travel websites.

The concepts are easy learn and very direct and simple. There are only a handful of trade setups to learn in the beginning. Once mastered Marcello opens the restricted Pro's section so that one may continue to improve one's trading effectiveness. The strategy is based on a rules based environment until a trader learns the concepts thoroughly. Once learned DTA teaches to implement a structured based approach based on momentum rather than rules. This is where significant advancement occurs as more trades are taken based on momentum rather than rules and this is based on fluid market dynamics and movement rather than "trade setups".

I found the Congressive strategy and system to stand the tests of time as well. I do have losing days in accordance with other traders but I would not have seen myself making money consistently everyday if it wasn't for DTA. I am still very surprised how we are able to navigate sideways markets with ease as long as we understand the concepts taught by Marcello. As a trader that has been using this strategy for many years I can attest to the fact that you can make money in any kind of market. Especially once you get to an advanced and pro level.

By hearing from other traders in the program and trying to assist others I would like to share my observations on why people succeed or fail. What I have noticed in the difference between success and failure is actually following the rules, blueprints, and feedback outlined by Marcello. Most traders that fail decide not to do the coursework and them blame DTA for not making them profitable. I would also like to note that this does take work and effort and will not be learned in a day or two nor a week or two for that matter.

We have some traders in our small group that use the main principles from DTA alongside other principles as well. DTA does provide the freedom to adjust settings, add and take off indicators, and also use other strategies alongside those being preached with the Congressive Trading System.

It would be unfair to say that is the best strategy on the market because there are so many ways to view and be successful in the markets. From what I have experienced in the last few years in both my trading performance and the effort & transparency provided by DTA, this is one of the best companies to learn from. They always go above and beyond and I look forward to working with them further in the future to making my trading even better.

It's unfair must read this!!

Okay I have been wondering if I should do this for a while. I think they are okay their methodology is what you would say for the lazy trader who wants a slight edge in the market. You can learn the whole methodology in about two to three hours. Very basic. Some people are making good money with it, some are not. It's a mixed bag. The good traders usually boast about it, the ones who are getting smashed are too emberassed to say so, and they stay pretty quiet about it. I think it was a descent course, but definitely not worth the money. I think Marcello's methodology is the work of Chris Dunn. I spoke to a trader and we compared and they both are selling the same thing. Marcello is a better marketer though, he tries to create an exclusive limited time only thing. I think it's adolescent but hey whatever floats his boat. If he is going to teach then teach, no one wants you to push them because you may never teach again. I think he thinks that how he can get more people to pull the trigger and buy his course... I joined because I wanted to. Lastly I must say that these reviews from his students are all positive because he offers anyone who writes a testimonial a free month in the trading room. I think that really stinks. People are getting compensated to write a review. I think that is hogwash. I kept shut about that, then decided its not cool. Some people are struggling and feel that they need to try to get as much as they can from him. If its a free month to save $150.00 then so be it. They feel that maybe that free month will give them the clarity they so desperately seek. NOW THAT IS THE TRUTH. His method is at best okay.,,,, You will get beat up from time to time and in the long run you will probably be ahead. You have to understand that there will be some really bad days and if you have the staying power then you can make it.

Personalized Trading Instruction

I have traded stocks for several years but wanted to learn to day trade futures. I had absolutely no knowledge of how to trade futures but the Day Trading Academy had me trading live within 4 weeks. Their curriculum is extremely thorough with chapters that you can print out as well as videos to further clarify the information. Then, you complete assignments that are personally reviewed by Marcello. When you are ready to paper trade, he also reviews the trades that you make and often sends a personalized video back to go through your trades. This really helped me figure out what mistakes I was making and learn what trades are working for me. Marcello always answers questions quickly. Also, there are live webinars with Marcello and other professional traders that are extremely helpful. I love the personalization of this program!

I worked with Marcello years ago before he ever had the Day Trading Academy. A very patient man that really does enjoy working and helping people. He used to help me every week with my trading when we were focused on the Russell 2000. This was before the TF moved over to the new exchange. Even though he was extremely busy he still answered all my questioned and helped me become a better trader. Glad to see that he is able to help others as well.

Informally Learning To Trade

Absolutely love the updates that they provide in regards to trading the eminis. Definitely have been able to pick up a few tidbits of valuable information from their recaps. Love the lifestyle updates as well including the free trip to Jordan that was recently publicized. Another one of the websites on my daily watchlist.

Review of the Day Trading Academy

I have been trading for 35 years. I actually owned and ran a NASDAQ Level 3 daytrading business. My trading history consisted of many small gains and a few spectacular losses. I recognized that I was my own worst enemy and had pretty much left trading to focus on some investments in businesses and real estate when I stumbled upon Marcello's blog while researching Medellin real estate. Being in the business (I have been a CPO and have managed systems developers and traders) I was impressed that Marcello invited class members to view live market trading and analysis. I know of no system or trader that can deliver under that kind of pressure (I was present when Martin Pring issued a real time trade recommendation at a conference and watched the trade crash and burn), yet I have watched as Marcello and his graduate students have pointed out profitable entry and exit points, in real time, repeatedly, and also watched as participants logged consistent profits. Marcello doesn't oversell his program, there will be losing trades, but he also teaches discipline and proper trade management to minimize losses.

More importantly, Marcello understands the mental aspect of trading and can describe, predict, and caution against pitfalls we all experience (i.e. the "revenge trade"). The indicators are nice, the system is sound, but it is Marcello's grasp of the mental aspect of trading that most impresses me. Being present for classes and listening to Marcello and other traders helps me get my head "right". That, and I recognize that he is constructing a world-class business and support system that I want to be a part of and benefit from.

DTA is the sister site of WanderingTrader.com that generally offers (more) day trading content and travel content. The public recaps are great. It is a great inspiration to traders around the world of what life could be like once consistency is reached. They definitely live an incredible life over at DTA.
