A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online

Fantastic Starting Point

It's cheap, chock full of information, and is clearly readable for all ages. I say a starting point, though, because it doesn't dive too much in some of the more serious topics of trading. One thing I wish she would of touched on is tape reading, something critical in stock trading. Besides that, it offers a perfectly great launching pad to a career of trading.

OH My Virgin Eyes

This is where you start when you don't know diddly squat. Its a great introduction for newbies wanted to get their feet wet, complete with definitions, lingo & terminology. A little bit of touching on charts and analysis to get you in the mood and a little more comfortable with what your about to do. But by no means does it get you ready to go "All The Way"

A good 1st base book, but be looking to go to second or third with some more lessons and tutorials or DVD's before attempting to score.

The quizzes at the end of each chapter are cool and make you feel 'On Track" like your actually learning and getting somewhere. You grow more confident when you realize your understanding what you just covered.

But if you have any knowledge of day trading on the stock market already, this book isn't for you. Its a very simple read and like the title says...A Beginners Guide.

Or if you like my review title better...Go Get Em 1st timer.!!.

Quality information

This book is very helpful and a must read. It discusses the basics of what anyone interested in trading needs to know. It does a great job of dropping you right into the markets of today. I have read a few other books that are on this ones level but this one would be at the top of my list to recommend someone who is wanting to start trading in the markets.

A Cheap Way To Learn The Basics

I read this book when I first started out and just did a Google search on stock and day trading and it came up as a result on amazons website. This book is exactly what the title says, a guide in the basics of trading, it goes over a lot of key definitions and terms you need to know before you begin trading and teaches you good ground rules you should have before trading stocks.

For the money it is a great deal for the information provided, and i recommend it if an instructional DVD package is not currently within your budget.

No Clue, Start Here

This is the book you want to read if your completely green to trading. You won't learn everything there is to know about trading but it's a great place to start. I don't recommend this book if you know even a little bit about day trading and the terms that come along with it.

Look around on the internet and buy a used version of this book if you're looking to save money for your brokerage account! All in all a good place to start.

Great Book, Well Written and Very Useful!

Excellent!!! This is a well written book and very easy to read. I highly reccommend reading this book if you are new to day trading. You will learn about all the concepts you hear about on your favorite websites and blogs. This book will help you understand the basics.

If you're new to trading, this is a good start

For the price of this book, I think it is an excellent resource for new traders. I am relatively new to trading, and this is the first book which I read and appreciated.

The level of detail the author goes into is good for beginners. The topic coverage is excellent - and there are chapters on developing the winning mentality, trading fundamentals, technical analysis, stock selection ideas and even introduces the concepts of swing, scalps and shorts.

I highly recommend this book for new traders. For the price, it provides great value for money.
