The Truth About Day Trading Stocks: A Cautionary Tale About Hard Challenges and What It Takes To Succeed

Always better to know the truth!

I started reading this a couple of days ago and couldn't let it go. It is very good to read all of the problems this guy faced. It made me feel less lonely about my own trading issues!

Sometimes you feel like you're the only one on earth not making money on the market, but if you read this you will realize that all of us (even book writers) face the same problems.

I like the approach about money management, and each chapter is written with a "newbies and professionals" section, so you know how issues affects each one.

Also, full of very good advice and ideas on how to improve your trading. I would encourage everyone starting on day trading to read this book first, one or two times, to know what the truth is.

Happy I read this!! Very Knowledgeable book for Beginners!

I was having second thoughts about reading it but I actually liked it. It really sets apart the reality and fantasies. Gives clear and relevant information for a beginner looking to enter the business as a day trader. I am pretty sure this book opened eyes for the people who do not have what it takes to actually be discipline and day trade for a living. This author is not bs like the other authors and seems to know his shit. An advanced day trader would not really like this book. Great for only starters.

Psychology and Emotion Control

Day trading involves a lot of component, technical,fundamental , charts etc etc

But the book emphasized some realistic primary components to control the Psychological and Emotional Control , the rest will follow. The book is easy read and very inspiring. It set a realistic expectation from experience.

Really gets at the psychological challenges of day trading

The real value of reading this book is its in-depth discussion of the psychology of trading warps so many of new traders minds and really grounds those looking for a quick way to make money to looking at becoming a trader as a process with a steep learning curve. I found some of the topics repeated that seem to be in allot of books but this book really cuts through and makes some good points.

Nice reality check

Nice reality check for wannabe daytraders. This is a very straightforward and objective assessment of the daytrading world.. it does a great job describing some of the harsh realities. This will keep you from being complacent for sure. I actually had no idea daytraders on aveage were so unsuccessful.
