I am using Multicharts with CQG with them. Happy so far. Customer service is amazing, pick up the phone in sec. Very helpfull. Great broker and cheap.

Very Aggressive and Not What Its Cracked Up To Be

I had an account with AMP, I started trading eminis a few years ago and remember how aggressive they were with opening an account. They sent me a ton of emails all the time until I finally caved and decided to open an account with them. I know have an account with AMP, Velocity, Mirus, and Advantage and only keep this account open in order to have other options. I also had an account with Tradestation but the commissions were way to high.

AMP I would say is sufficient but nothing out of this world. They provide the basic things that every other brokerage firm provided but found that their customer service isn't up to par. Anytime I needed something I couldn't get what I needed and always had to call back three or four times in order get what I needed. I wouldn't recommend AMP to anyone unfortunately.. not the best broker out there

No issues so far, trading for almost 1 year

I have been with AMP since September... it's my first broker, so I can't compare but overall I am satisfied. My broker contacts me about once a month even though I am his client to see if all is good.... i am from Denmark and travel to Singapore a lot (live there about half the time), so I use skype, which is perfect because all their brokers use Skype chat for support.

I don't know about commissions because I trade foreign markets, but they are definitely much lower than I was paying with Saxo Bank, as in 3-4 times lower.

I had only one money withdrawal and this took about 1 day, by 2nd day money was on my current account in Copenhagen. I do like access to FGBL, which is my favorite, also low margins. I just wish the demo had more instruments, because I use it to practice, but once I went live, the live demo uses the real connection so it's great. I use Ninja Trader w/ CQG but have now switched to CQG + Market Delta and love it.

Awful customer service, unprofessional, unpleasant

Traded there for about 3 months. Emails often went unanswered. Emergency trade line hung up on me.

Then one day, I noticed something really strange with a eurofx trade. There was a sudden, inexplicable 40 pip move in the cost basis ninja was reporting for a position I'd been carrying. I had neither opened nor closed any positions recently. Customer service was rude, stated what I was claiming couldn't possibly be happening and made no sense. The statement started, "I'm not surprised you're having problems managing your single lot position..." and it was made on a public message board by a company representative. No offer to investigate, or prevent recurrence of this huge problem.

I moved my money out that day & won't use them.

My considered opinion is that they are quite rude, unprofessional, dismissive, and possibly dishonest. I can not prove the latter statement because the information presented concerning cost basis of my positions was inconsistent. That's a huge problem.

Very pleased with NinjaCQG. Very cheap.

I'm long time ninjatrader user. Started with ninja pats, then pfg and zen. Now using Ninja with CQG at AMP. Simply the best data. CQG is much cheaper than Zen. Was impressed with the service and time that the represenatives took with me.

Too aggressive

I had the opportunity to demo their Ninja Trader platform. The broker seems to be okay but they will aggressively contact you to open an account and limit your demo time to a short time period. The CQG feed was comparable to Zen Fire but at the time that I used it, CQG was limited to certain contracts. Their technical support was very nice and helpful. I decided to go with another broker.

Cheap and good introducing broker

AMP Trading is one of those brokers that introduce you to futures. They have good customer service and cheap commissions. The nature of introducing is not always a good thing, because some brokers overcharge you for their services. But so far I have found AMP to be one of the more cheaper and more reliable futures brokers with excellent platforms.
