Annoying as heck
I can't stand when this guy jumps on the boob tube. I know most of the CNBC crew is too stupid to know what they're talking about, but maybe it's just more noticeable when he's talking. I love journalist who strive to gather information with the questions they present. Check out some of his interviews from "The Leaders." He is seeking truth for people, not just reading a fabricated script.
Simon is great commentator, very well-spoken, asks great, relevant questions and doesn't back down from anyone. Moreover, I believe him to be relatively honest with no hidden agenda
I've seen Simon Hobbs on CNBC and also saw him as host of "The Leaders," a series of one-to-one interviews with Europe's business and political elite. He is really good, very well spoken, smart, confident and doesn't back down from people.

Englishman Tells It Straight
First caught Simon as a guest on Fast Money, where he angered the whole crew by telling them that the 2009 rally was a bogus, government-fueled rally. You can probably find the video on YouTube. Anyone who will take on the whole Fast Money crew without backing down is someone worth listening to...
