Needs to work on teaching

Tim knows his stuff , he's a pretty good trader and his returns prove it , no doubt about that , but as a teacher , he probably needs to learn more about teaching , but i don't blame him since He is a trader not a teacher and teaching is not what he had in mind when he started trading. Some good concepts in the DVD but maybe tim has too much to tell you , so he keeps moving from know thing to another without really explaining everything in detail. Best would be to watch this DVD in parts rather than in on or 2 days. watch each concept once a day then you will probably get it. good for beginners but i think the price is steep. overall decent , i learned quite a bit and sort or got entertained at the same time and even motivated . Hes got better at teaching in his subsequent Dvd's

Great DVD, Very Useful If You're A Beginner

This DVD is great for learning all the basics of trading penny stocks. There is a lot of footage to go through (about 6 hours) and Tim literally explains everything that you need to know. If you watch this DVD and take notes, you will learn so much about trading penny stocks, it is quite amazing

Although the DVD was made a few years back, most of it still applies in the market today, and you can see for yourself by looking at recent penny stock charts.

I highly recommend you get this if you are starting out, as it will save you from losing bunch of money, and most likely help you make a bunch of money.

Another great DVD

This DVD offers the basics of not just Tim's strategy, but also the basics of how penny stocks trade in the bigger picture, which makes this DVD uniquely helpful to people who are just starting out trading. Considering this, I would recommend this DVD to those people who don't have much experience with trading and aren't familiar with the nitty-gritty of trading.

Potentially the most helpful part of this DVD is the overview of the most relevant technical analysis. The reason I like these sorts of DVD as opposed to some of Tim's recorded seminars that are then recycled as DVD's, is that you get to see example after example of stock chart along with the technical indicators that can tip you off to how to trade it. Since the patterns don't change from pump to pump, these examples are extremely useful to see and absorb into your mind.

Of course the downfall is that stock charts are always viewed in retrospect. Regardless, Tim does a good job of identifying the sort of patterns that occur BEFORE big moves, thus allowing you to learn and profit from current pumps. What's nice is that he is very aware of this problem and even includes some charts that don't include the big moves so you get a sense of exactly what you would be seeing if the stock were trading today.

If on the other hand you've been trading for a while already, you might prefer something like Best of LiveStock, since it skips the more basic and general trading orientation, instead concentrating on Tim's short-selling strategy itself.

There is also some interesting but useless stuff like advertising of Tim's book and how he published it.

If you know nothing on Pennystocks this is for you!

If you need the big picture around penny stocks i.e. what are the different exchanges, what are the key words used in the stock market "language", then you should definitely get this one.

Tim walks you through the basics of pennystocking, which he doesn't in his other dvd's, you will learn the vocabulary needed in order to find yourself in between the stock market specific language.

The second part of the DVD will walk you through some basic patterns tim plays daily. If you want to learn about trading and the stock market, this is a perfect start!

Don't buy it: save 6 hours of your life and 397 bucks!

It has been told for years but I must repeat it here: this DVD is for complete beginners only. Even if you are new to finance, trading and penny stocks, I would not recommend this DVD because it costs too much.

Start with TimothySykes.com. Watch the free videos and read the blog. Come back when you are done. It should take you at least one month because the blog is full of posts! Now, you had fun and you can skip PennyStocking DVD, so you just made 397 bucks in savings. Congrats!

Sure, if you are a lazy couch patato and prefer to watch TV instead of doing easy research (like reading Tim’s blog), that’s fine: buy this DVD and waste your money. You will not succeed in penny stock anyway because you need discipline and ability to research. So you are doomed.

The quality of this DVD is low but I couldn’t care less: I want substance, I want information, I want value for money. The DVD is not empty but there is nothing you can’t find in the above mentioned blog. Sorry Tim but it is true. Hence, this DVD should be distributed for free.

I read all the reviews from Elite Users. The best review so far was Mikeyb420 according to me. Tim’s answers were irrelevant and inappropriate but we know Tim: self-promotion first (in the DVD, Tim repeats all the time: buy my book, buy my book). But, you know, when you love someone, you also love his flaws. ;) Another very good review is from Kblehman. I encourage you to read both to make your own opinion.

Informative and detailed

Great DVD for complete beginner. It illustrate hundreds of example of different mistakes and victories. Repetitive for the right reason: lessons that need to be pounded in to save time and money. Detailed explanation of every chart, what Tim would of done or should of done, great learning experience.

You can learn so much in this DVD for shorting crappy stocks. Made me lots of $$$ and I recommend to anyone.

Start here

So you've probably read Tim's book and are excited about becoming a trader yourself. If not you must not have been skimming through pages not paying attention. Pennystocking is the greatest starting point to learning his strategy. He breaks down valuable information (both the good and the bad) about how he became such a successful individual trader. I recommend before you purchase any other of his DVD's you start here!
