Pretty good source to have when it comes to fraud but their credibility is not as strong like muddy waters. Still a great source to learn from especially with Chinese fraud stocks.

They used to be good. Not anymore.

They turned silent lately. Maybe because they lost their credibility before with dubious calls. I still watch their alerts but I would not act on them. In this game, trust is the most important asset. They lost it.

Great Site

Good expose on the Chinese fraud stocks on the NYSE. Its beyond me how nobody comments on this stuff. Why the NYSE would continue listings for obvious scam investments is beyond me as is the SEC's apparent lack of interest in dealing with this issue.

This is a great source of information that is not covered elsewhere.

Very good

Whenever Citron bashes a stock, it's almost sure to fall. You can short the drop or buy the snap back. Usually Citron is right about the short thesis. Ian Bezek did a nice job creating a tracksheet at http://seekingalpha.com/article/251981-a-comprehensive-scorecard-for-citron-research. As you can see, alot of hits and only a few misses.

"Great Newsletter"

I love Citron. But not for the same reason everyone else does. Most people would tell you that Citron is a must follow newsletter for short sellers. But my strategy is to go long for a bounce play on the mentioned stock. By the time Citron's latest article hits your inbox or twitter feed the stock has already made a huge move down. My strategy is to stalk the stock and wait for a good long entry for some quick and easy gains. If you notice, every single stock that they mention makes a quick short-term recovery and then makes its move back down again offering a good second short entry if you missed the first. Who cares if the research is really unbiased or not. The point is that there is always money to be made on every single stock they mention long and short. Citron has tons of followers and its a free service. "gotta love it"

I find you have to follow Citron's research even if you don't trade with their research. It has great value in knowing who they are exposing, but be sure to do your own homework as we will find out who is correct soon with CCME.

best way to use citron

A year ago I would trust this side, but now I don't think they do good research anymore.

Prove they go with the flow bashing all the Chinese companies doesn't matter good or bad.

Looks like the independent research doesn't exist anymore.Shortselling is so powerful these days that nobody cares anymore about real value.The best way don't rely on any websites like this one, do your own research, unless you are a short seller- use the first impact and go with the flow.Don't risk to much when momentum finish,bottom formed switch the sides, of course if you have done your own research and you know the value of the company.You definitely earn more money this way then blindly believe what Citron research is writing.

Must follow.

Citron does great research and is rarely wrong. Short term, a stock that has been "citron slammed" goes down and hard. Must keep track of their reports.

Short Guide.

Citron does a great job uncovering the facts to some of the paid pump stocks out there. Most 2 recent reports on HHWW and UEC would have been profitable had a short trade been placed. Seems they are a bit late to the party though. The big move down usually occurs right before their report hits. Either way, if you see them with a report out - its usually spot on.
