Covestor is an online Investment Management platform that allows you to mirror the real trades of successful individual or Professional Investors. The website provides everyday investors access to a managed account service to review portfolio's. My economics professor would talk about this website often, so i started checking it out myself.

Perfect to keep track

Covestor is a very nice tool to keep track of your trades, in terms of returns as well as compare your track record with verified traders. I started using the service with TOS, switched to Sogo and unfortunately something glitched and erased everything. Fortunately, now there is Profit.ly. Covestor should be tried by everybody, and helps in finding excellent traders which you can learn from. It's all about transparency right?

The site is well designed and being lead by a experienced team of veterans that have seen success many times before. Alongside the ability to prove yourself to the trading world Covestor offers the ability to track other traders, all with a certified trade history instead of a simulator portfolio. The site boasts some amazing features that will keep members involved and in the know with who’s hot and who’s not.

Great sites to check the pros track record

I love this site because it shows you how much money the pros are many, as many claim to make vasts amounts of money but do not back this up with evidence. Thanks to this site you can check all the traders records in one place, even if some of the bigger guys still haven't decided to follow the trend, I am sure soon enough they will.

I love the transparency!

It's really nice to have a site out there that can verify peoples trades. I just wish more stock analysts would go on there so we could see how well they really do. The only thing I don't like about it is how it assumes you're investing your entire account for each trade, so it's hard to know how much people are truly up on their account.

Cool Idea

Like my title says, it is a cool idea, but it could definitely use a better tracking code, the percent gains are out of whack, I don't even know how to explain it. Maybe Tim can do better at explaining that. It is a great service to have, especially if you want to get noticed for your skills as a investor, or a consistently gaining trader.

Good Community for newer traders and for paper trading.

If you are a newer trader i 100% recommend joining their community their is tons to learn and also there is a great paper trading feature which allows you to experiment with fake money before risking your own! i recommend paper trading REALISTICALLY not with a million bucks. USE WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE!

What's not to like

What's not to like about Covestor. it's a free service and a great tool to learn what stocks others are investing in and how they manage their portfolios. Great for verifying performances of gurus such as Tim.

It links up securely to your investment account and can automatically track your trades and ranks you against the other investors on Covestor.

Too bad most high profile gurus don't track their portfolios on Covestor, that would be interesting to see.
