I started using this service over a year ago and in that time things have went from ok to unprofessional in that time, Im not talking about Johnny;s trades, we'll get to that later, Im talking about the nonsense he talks about which is nothing market related, showing videos of stupid things while the market is in full effect. Its just annoying to have him on and some stupid shit comes up while you're working. This is a radio station not a trading station.

Now for Johnny's trading strategy. He doesn't even follow his own rules, how can you be a good mentor if you're risking when you shouldn't be, and then screaming this is a high risk trade, be careful. According to his rules he shouldn't even have been in most of the trades he was in but he says something about gut feeling, then you wonder why his portfolio is down. I'm not saying he doesn't have some good calls but don't believe his track record, he just carries that stuff till it either makes him money(some he's been holding for over a year and still losing), or someone calls him out on it. Then he's like yeah I should sell. At time of this writing he has 4 stocks that are over 20% losers, and there are a total of 14, with 9 losers, the winners are mostly under 1%.

Now on to the chat rooms where the sheeple lay. When I first came to this site I heard a lot about how no trading programs are used in here, they are evil,and had seen a few members ridiculed for using their own trading programs and posting their trades, not advertising, and were instantly told they were stupid for using a program. Well low and behold the radio station now uses one, except Johnny gave his approval and now all the sheep in the room are like yeah GasBot rocks and yada yada. So unless Johnny says its ok, then the sheep will get you.

This room might be for new people trying to get a hold on the market and how it works, or for some cheap romper room fun, but not for serious traders, no way, to be honest don't follow him into a trade without doing your own DD, follow the methodology of the stochs. All his videos are free and tell you how he trades. And also a lot of these 5 stars on here are of past members that have left for same reasons I am. Have a good one.

I enjoy the live ES on the screen.

Johnny needs to get on Profit.ly. Never trust anyone who doesn't show there real trades. He's gone to much. Guess why he's making all his money off his members. RPM has a crazy man crush on Johnny also. Creepy.

Any how to listen to the service is nice cause you do here about market moving news, but this is FREE! The trading side. Why pay for a fake. ES calls are live and FREE also.

In closing Its your money. I'd listen for free and take it for a grain of salt. He was much better a few years ago. But his members need to demand full disclosure.

That means RPM Johnny bri guy and any others. only guy's on this site worth your time are Cousin vinny and Gas. They know there stuff.

Extremely Enjoyable Experience

I have been a subscriber for about 6 months. He is an extremely funny guy who works his ass off and gives everything he has to make his site a success. Not sure anybody else on the planet could pull 8 hours a day on the microphone (sometimes 15) and then grind out another long day on Saturday doing research. An 8 hour show is crazy...and then all of the off air work that has to be done to make the show/site go...it is really inspiring. Since I have been on board he has been extremely solid...at least 75% winners...at least. I really enjoy the show and how he is an open book. My problem has been I can't take every trade and need to pick my spots...just happens a couple of the spots I have picked have gone pear shaped. (DLTR/DG a few weeks back), but that is my problem not his. Long story short I really like this site, Johnny, and the members in the room.

A must in your trading life

I´m just starting into the world of trading and there was a before and after, once I met DTR.

They helped and the most important, is teaching me a lot every day that goes by. A very respectful environment wich allows you to meet great people. Always there for your questions, it´s really amazing.

Day Trading for the Rest of Us

I used to trade my own system based upon newspaper articles and personal opinion. A friend introduced me to a trading site and newsletter subscription. It was about $100/month, but I figured it was worth it if I found one good trade each month. I didn't. The daily newsletters added little to what I could figure out on my own. I didn't have contact with the other subscribers. Even when I started trading emails, many traders were reluctant to share their ideas.

After spending a few thousand dollars on that, I found the Day Trading Radio app for my Android. I thought it was just a screen shot of the ES. When I went to the site online, I learned so much more. And after subscribing ($29.95/mo), I learned how giving the fellow members are.

DTR does his homework each weekend, and finds so many great trade setups. It amazes me how technically accurate he is with the charting. I've learned so much from his videos. And his live commentary each day is informative, educational, and entertaining.

To be fair, some traders don't enjoy the entertainment. They prefer a strictly stoic commentary. i don't like that, and don't want it. I enjoy the limited entertainment and good times with other traders in the chat rooms. I think it's needed to keep me loose and not burned out.

Anyway, I love Day Trading Radio, and I love all the extras that come with the subscription: Weekly watch list videos, Mid-week update videos. daily Stock alerts, and educational videos from several of the members.

hey dtrs, i know you all said it was a slow day and not that exciting...but for me it was a great pace cause i got to learn a lot..so thanks..this is one of the best investments i have ever made.

Everyday here makes trading fun and exciting. not only the main show but also the other shows provided...

Honest review that is needed to wake this man up

This review has been a long time in the making. I didn't want to add this at first because I thought maybe it would change, but it hasn't. I've been a member for almost 3 years, so I have seen pretty much about everything he has to offer. I do think he is a good person, but his trading has gone down hill.

I am not sure if it is because he gets a ton of money from members...maybe he doesn't have to focus as much...maybe he has personal issues outside of the radio show...but he takes trades that make you wonder what the hell is he looking at. It's really weird because he teaches all of the new traders things you shouldn't be doing...and then turns around and does almost all of what he tells you he shouldn't.

He holds losers forever...losses are huge...

He can't trade in a down market what so ever. It's like he doesn't want to admit that the market is going down and just keeps waiting for a pop back...and if it doesn't he pretends that his position doesn't exist....and then eventually he has to get rid of it when the bounce back isn't enough to get out break even.

His intraday trading is purely emotion...he is suppose to have a strategy, but that strategy is beat out by emotions...

The noise is just to much....I don't know what is going on, but if you can watch for free...do that....especially during market pullbacks...Even when the market was going up the past 8 months he wasn't really taking advantage of opportunities...

Also he used to have this investimonials site up on his website...but when he started losing money he got rid of it.........

DTR is a good educator, he will teach you TA, he will explain what prompted him to enter a trade, etc, etc..but, the overall performance is not that good. His system does not work effectively in this market because of the volatility from one day to the next, his losses are also way too big in compared to his wins, sometimes one loss is equivalent to 10 wins.

I also found there to be way too much noise, he plays music but then he has all types of other crap in the background..the auction guy as I call him talking a thousand words per minute (very annoying and unnecessary, especially for swing trading), crickets and thumping..wow, sometimes you have 3-4 different noises coming at you at once, how can anyone concentrate under that racket.

I can't start my day without it

I have been a member of DTR for 2 months now, the service and video is free, but if you want to participate in the chat and some of the other things its only 30 bucks a month and the first two weeks are free! So basically if you don't like it then don't stay.

I see some of the other reviews complaining about the "entertainment" getting in the way of the trading and that John's trades are sometimes emotional etc...My answer to that is if you are looking for someone to lead you to water so that you can take your drink you are going to die of thirst...

The chat room has a fraternal feel to it and yes it is obnoxious at times and I laugh my butt off and yes it gets loud at times and that is when I turn down the speakers, but also there is a strong feel of community and with that comes a little integrity IMO i know these guys including John aren't perfect with their trades but I also feel like it is my responsibility to make the decision whether to buy, sell or short based on my DD and not anyone elses.

In my opinion John can care less if you come or go and his technical skills are sound if anything. It is up to you to decide your position amount as well as if the information you are receiving is a valid buy or sell signal just like all your other indicators.

i don't expect anyone to spoon feed me trades, but what I get out of DTR is worth the price of admission definitely and I've made good money on the chat room chatter as well as some of the ideas that John has put out in his high probability set ups at the very least enough to pay for my yearly membership with them which is fine by me.

The ANSWER is Simple !

As Bernie Madoff and others have taught us, CHARGE us a PREMIUM and promise RESULTS, then YOU should DELIVER! When the RESULTS are NOT there, then YOU ARE VIOLATING "confidence" with the "product" you offered!

Daytradingradio has NOT performed in many months! Subtract "commissions" from the months they show some profit, and you're in a LOSS! John doesn't disclose the trades he's holding on his daily recap list, which he should to ensure "pure transparency." After all, he called the trade and posted he took it, then we don't hear from him until weeks later when he's taken a major loss, and too many times we did too!

The 10 for 1,000 LIST doesn't DELIVER, so WHY are WE DEBATING?

This site is like any stock symbol we trade, eventually the market will determine it's fate! I was watching before the daily count hit 800 and I was watching the day it hit just over 2,000 and the audience has been in a sharp pullback since (could not take out it's highs if you know what I mean).

Traders want to make money, we aren't looking for entertainers.

There are ONLY "2" questions:

1. Are we looking for entertainment that Pandora doesn't offer for FREE?

2. Are we looking for PROFITS from trading, which hasn't happened here since I've known of this site?
