large cap style, little use for micro small traders/learners

The website is a continuation of the magazine publication, which is more entertaining then educational. If you need to polish up on your dreams, and aspire to greater things, this can be used as a visualization tool, yet it warrants only tidbits of useful information. I think the only time i've delved into a Forbes on purpose is in waiting rooms of Doctors and Lawyers. Forbes has a very friendly site design and easy to find interesting articles such as top 10 lists but this is more suitable to bar trivia then raw investing data. I like Forbes for insight into paradigm shifts and how the consciousness of that demographic is shifting.

A reliable source of information and entertainment

I like the way Forbes sets up their magazine and I enjoy two thirds of what is written.. It's about educating and entertaining at the same time and I think that's classy. I haven't read too much Forbes but I certainly wouldn't mind picking up an issue now and again. Also I feel that reading from a physical magazine provides it's own unique experience and Forbes is a master of this medium.

I only read Forbes for the richest people list

I admit i do not have time to read news on other websites, so i only use yahoo, wsj, google and bloomberg as my main source of financial news. Forbes is great for their list of the richest people, companies.. etc. very informative

Forbes is "forbes", enough said.

I truly enjoy reading forbes website. But I do it very rarely because the only content that really gets me excited is the Forbes List. Very well organized list. Nice to see the richest men of every country. There is also portfolio tracker of individual traders/investors but I have never stayed there for a while. Just not my type of investors. But you can check and find something useful. Overall Forbes is "forbes", enough said.

My Favorite!

I really like the information I recieve from their website. Especially when they release the Forbes list. Interesting to see what businesses people are in. They usually have some interesting news and better than other media websites.

Good magaizine for general info

Forbes is food magaizine for general info on finance and investing. There are also lots of inspiring stories and investment ideas. I really like the lists that come out esp. the top billionaires, top paid athletes, etc. I would advise not to take the stock picks too seriously. I just think there are better ideas out there from other services.

More Lists than anything...

When I hear "Forbes" I think more of their Lists and ForbesLife than their financial or business news.

I would put Forbes on a lower rung of the Financial news magazine ladder, maybe close to Kiplinger's and those MMM magazines.

It's bloated with ads and "LifeStyles of the Rich and Famous" than REAL trading news I can use.
