Best web site for quantitative analysis

After using it for P123 for 4 years and trying many web sites for the past many years, P123 is pretty much the only web site to let me make real money year after year.

With $300 a month, it is not cheap and is not for anyone looking for stock tips or market commentary, i.e., there is no entertainment value like CNBC. However, it is relatively cheap comparing with other institutional grade quantitative tools.

P123 is for serious investors with strong fundamental analysis background. With nearly 10 years of point-in-time US stock database without survivorship bias, and with P123's great simulator interface, it can truly find hundreds of undervalue stocks to build a lasting robust portfolio.

P123 does not have subjective chart reading or human bias seen in almost all financial web sites, and be prepared to spend hundreds of hours to master its powerful tools.

Great for developing systems

Portfolio 123 is an excellent site for developing trading systems. I have used it to attain decent gains with minimum slippage. My slippage is about .75% normally. The site has pre-made systems which can be copied and used, or modified. There is also a pretty expansive forum where users can trade ideas and share their systems with one another. A weekly newsletter is mailed out notifying traders of their system's performance and the best performing systems as well. Of course, like most trading systems common sense should be used (don't use it as a black box!) to minimize losses and maximize gains.
