Fantastic post purchase service. Tony backs up his products with more than just indicator sales and the mentoring program. Are you a person who has a non-trading tech person you call on for your computer or trading platform problems? But what you really need is a person who specifically can work around platform problems you may encounter.

What do you do when you don’t know who to ask for help? Well to start off, maybe you send a tech support request to your platform provider. Then you get an e-mail from the platform provider, on a possible remedy for your technical problem. But all you can think about is, “If I follow these instructions. It may get a whole lot worse and besides, how will I know if what I am doing is really going to work?” So you call a non-trading tech person to help you out. After he follows the instructions you received from the platform provider, all that he can ascertain is that maybe the problem has to do with some indicator script files (in my case, I was told it might be The Intentional Trader NinjaScript files). All the while you are thinking to yourself, “What I need is a technician who knows his way around the technical aspects of the trading platform.”

Well several weeks after importing The Intentional Trader indicators I found myself having problems importing another indicator I purchased from a different vendor. I got a dialog box that said something about Script files were non compatible. I e-mailed Tony about the problem since I had nowhere else to turn and his indicators where the last ones I imported, or so I thought. He graciously said, he would personally look into it. On a Saturday afternoon, he remotely logged into my machine to see if The Intentional Trader indicators were causing the problem. They were not. He isolated an (ATR) script file I had downloaded from a forum and imported that was causing the problem. Then he extracted the file and got the platform working again. I was now able to load the indicator I received from the other vendor. Tony performed this as a courtesy. How often nowadays , do you get this kind of service? Yes I do have and use The Intentional Trader indicators on my machine every day. I Hope this story helps you in your decision to look into the services Tony has to offer at The Intentional Trader.

One of the truly "Good Guys" in day trading rooms

I recommended The Intentional Trader to one of my friends that was thinking about learning how to day trade. She said she did a google search and found the BigBob review and was concerned about it and asked my opinion. I must say, I was quite taken aback by it and felt that it was a very unfair and inaccurate review. I posted a comment on BigBobs review but then realized I was not able to rate IT myself by just posting a comment. So I decided to post a review also and include my comments to the BigBob review here too:

I must say, that my experience with Tony and The Intentional Trader was not like yours at all BigBob. I can't even begin to tell you how much IT has helped me get over my "weaknesses" as a trader. Sure, I agree that learning the system was not immediate, but then what is? I am surprised that you say you were trading with live money immediately or soon after starting. Tony specifically told me and everybody in the room NOT trade with real money until you reach a level of confidence with the indicators and setups that would allow it. I waited 6 weeks before taking my first live trade and I am so glad that I did. If I hadn't Im sure I would have suffered from lack of understanding and allowing some of my old bad habits to creep in. As it turned out, when I started live I was still a bit nervous and ended up making some of the same old dumb mistakes I was making in the past. The difference was, I now knew what the mistakes were and how to correct them.

I did not buy the indicators and I am no longer trading in the trading room due to an illness with a family member that requires most of my attention during the day. I do intend to return to the trading room and purchase the indicators as soon as I can. And even though you say they are just like free or common indicators, I have yet to see anything like them anywhere.

One thing you mentioned that leads me to think that maybe you either were not in the trading room very long, or you did not pay attention. You said "one of the other traps is that the charts have so many potential trade setups that it just encourages you to overtrade". If you were in the trading room more than just a couple of days, you learned that there is a difference between an indicator and a signal. And, just because an indicator says that a condition is positive DOES NOT mean it is a trade signal. There are only 4 potential entries. You must not have taken the time to learn them. I admit, I have not been able to get the results that he gets. I chalk that up to being less experienced than he is. I can say though, that each month, I got better and better and have no doubt that his results are actual results as he posts exactly what he calls out in the trading room. I kept his live trade log open on my desktop for a couple of months to make sure that the trades he called out, and the results of those trades, actually ended up on his log. Not once did I ever catch him "fudging" his results. And overtrading is your choice if you choose to take high risk trades. Tony does not, and encourages anybody in the trading room to start out by being very conservative.

I just can't stand to see someone that is impatient and obviously doesnt follow direction or trade setup rules try to ruin one of the truly "good guys" in the very murky waters of day trading rooms. Tony spent many hours with me personally helping whenever I asked for it. He gave me confidence and helped hold me up when I was weak and wanted to revert back to my old style of trading (poorly). I think you were unfair and misleading to people that are truly looking for help and I hope my comments here help to correct the wrong that you have done.

Micro scalper

I will start with the bad first. This was a bottomless money pit for me. I paid the monthly fees for the room, bought indicators, paid for ninja services, and started to see the commision fee's start to rack up. Then after paying about 2 grand they start working on you to join there RX program and ummm hand over another 2 grand. After about a month or so with poor results in about 2 days I took 6 straight losses and said enough is enough. "stick with it",,, "join our RX program" etc...were the reply's I got.

Now there style of trading is what I call micro scalping and using all kinds of gizmo's and gadgets which are nothing but all the stuff you have for free and common indicators, They just take them from the bottom of your chart and give them an icon and put it up on the upper chart and sell it to you. But there main trading is from support and resistance and trying to get a tick or two on average per trade. However, one of the other traps is that the charts have so many potential trade setups that it just encourages you to overtrade which is in itself an account killer.

On the positive side, it is a fun room and everyone was quite helpfull.

Also please note that you will NOT get the results that the moderator posts so don't fall for that either as those results are mixed real money trades and then he switches over to the sim account mode. And not just this site but any site that lists there stat's as a percentage should be a huge red flag as they don't take into consideration commisions, slippage and fee's.

Struggling? This room can really jump-start your trading!

If you're struggling with trading or just can't find the right "oomph" to kick-start your trading venture, then the Intentional Trader may have something in store for you. Being a member for approximately 10 months, this room is nothing short of amazing. I don't normally give a service 5 stars but the folks there have earned it! That being said, I don't want this to sound like a pure sales pitch, so I will give my full unbiased experiences about the results, the atmosphere, value and the education.

In terms of results, we usually achieve around a 85% profitability rate. Doing the calculations, this figure shows that they are quite profitable and any trader will confirm that a 85% win rate is more than enough to amass a nice and tidy profit. Dubious? Check the history and crunch the numbers for yourself and you'll see that we either win or breakeven 85% of the time throughout the year. I can fully attest to this as I've been here for around about a year. But, as with any line of work, there are principles that need to be followed (not right to the letter, since trading is all about discretion as the market is never static) and when followed YOU CAN achieve very similar results.

For Value, they might not be the cheapest trading room around but they are certainly not the most expensive room too, and every dollar spent is well worth it. I'll tie in value with the atmosphere because these 2 categories go hand in hand. Unlike many trading rooms which are crowded, filled with over inflated egos and unwelcomness (acting like YOU'RE the dumb one) the Intentional Trader room is small, tight-knit and everyone is VERY welcoming to anyone that comes on board. I remember when I first arrived at the Intentional Trader, I was greeted with such great hospitality and delight that alone made the monthly fee worth it. The admins Tony and Billy are the nicest guys you'll ever meet and you can be reassured that none of your questions will be brushed off; condescending is just not at all in their vocabulary :). You feel like you're practically going to work with all of your best mates everyday.

In regards to the education, if you don't know what trading is and you havn't seen a candlestick chart in your life, then this may not be the right room for you yet. You can join the free room, learn candlesticks, the world of trading from various sites such as babypips.com and incrediblecharts.com and learn what an MA and pivot points are and you're good to go. We love catering to basic traders, but we do need ask of some knowledge though. With that aside, if you're a struggling trader (like I was, that's why I'm emphasising this) the admin Tony will do his absolute best to help you whilst trading. However, for a more enriching 1-to-1 education try the Rx Program (I'm in it too!). He gives you exercises and mentors you on how to manage your emotions, building a trading plan, trade journaling and setting firm ground rules to get you back on track to profitability. I can't recommend it enough as you really do get full attention to your personalised trading venture.

I was so happy when he "disciplined" me (lol) for breaking the rules since I know he's the real deal.

In summary, with a 85% win rate (fully attestable) an awesome atmosphere, great admins, and an optional trader development program -- this is my version of a holy grail. If you work at it, you'll most likely get there!

By the way, just a little background about me; I'm just about to graduate from college and trade with these guys full time. That's right, it shows just how confident I am about this room.

I've been trading futures and forex for a couple of years on and off but most of my time has actually been spent reading and learning and lurking in trading rooms as opposed to actually trading. The trading rooms I've been to have been okay, but they are no where near as special as this place is in so many ways.

[B]The Intentional Trader[/B] is a room run by an experienced trader (Intentional Tony) who applies an exceptional strategy (futures) that he has devised based on a series of his own indicators inside Ninja Trader (for both DOM & Charts). The room itself is quite small and personal and when I joined on my [URL="http://www.theintentionaltrader.com"][B]free 7 day trial[/B][/URL] (see the website) I was surprised by the welcome I received. Any questions you have are answered instantly and there are no ego's to be found. Simply a small group of friendly traders who are making or learning to make a living from trading and are more than happy to help any newcomer out.

Tony explains each trade in simple detail as it sets up and his set of indicators are the most powerful and well designed indicators I've come across. He brings his experience and combines it with his coding ability to create a chart layout that is simple yet extremely efficient and easy to read. The whole strategy and the setups are actually quite easy to understand as well which was great for me. A variety of markets are also traded which means there are plenty of opportunities to take trades. However a conservative and "intelligent" attitude is apparent in the room so we only take the best set ups.

I signed up for a trading room subscription on my first day of the trial because of how impressed I was with the trading strategy and the vibe of the room. I was also drawn by the fact that there were no big upfront fees to join like many rooms have. Just a simple monthly subscription that I'm allowed to cancel at any time and there is no comparison to the other rooms I've been to as far as value for money goes. Trust me on that.

There is also a very unique course you can participate in for additional mentoring to help you with the business aspects of trading and the transition from part time to full time trading (which is inevitable). I'm most impressed by this and I think you will be too.

Tony posts a daily trading log on his website of his trades and the results speak for themselves, his highly intelligent trading is the reason why he has an average winning trade percentage of over 85%. And there is absolutely nothing stopping you from getting into the room right now, taking the same trades as us and achieving similar results.

Basically the reason why I'm posting this is because I'm so extremely happy to have found this place and have all my hard work pay off. Even though this room isn't directly related to the hundreds of hours I've spent learning in my own time about trading, I still feel like finding the room is my reward and I want to tell the world about it!!

Unfortunately I don't know anyone in real life who trades so I will use the internet to spread the word. Honestly folks. Check this place out. Sign up for the free 7 day trial and come in and say hi one day next week. You will learn a strategy that will likely have you profiting more consistently than you've ever profited before.

The Scalper´s

Review: The Intentional Trader

I was in the room for a weeks trial. If you like to scalp (Euro Futures, oil, $X, ES etc), this is really a good place to be. Nice and fun atmosphere where you can learn how to become a scalper using the TIT´s tools and methods.

So if you are a scalper I will absolute recommend this.
