Good service

Very useful service I subscribed to their day trading video replay service for over 2 months. You see all their trades both good and bad, and you can learn different lessons from the winners and the losers. Their pre/post market analysis was also very insightful. I learned all kinds of trading techniques. It's a perfect service for beginner traders. They also have free daily watch list and free content on YouTube.

This is the best service available for day trading

The guys at Today Trader provide the best trading education available. I’ve watched their live service since it started on May 15, 2008 and I recommend it for all day traders because they constantly deliver the insights they promise. In addition to day trading, the service includes an explanation of all swing trades taken with email alerts and a swing-trade webinar one night each week. Andy is an excellent day trader and the swing trading results for Steve and Andy have been stellar since they added that service in early 2010.

Some of the things I’ve learned from them include:

An understanding of sector correlations and how to identify a sector breakout

How to be patient and wait for the right time to enter a trade based on technical indicators and other market conditions

How to judge support and resistance to determine how long to stay in a trade

Which technical indicators to use and how to configure them

When to ramp up share size, when to scale down, and when not to trade

How to trade based on relative strength, sympathy plays, and overbought/oversold conditions

Today Trader puts out very good videos, free and Pay

Steve Gomez is a very soft spoken, easy going Professional trader. He along with his

partner Andy have put many of thier videos out on youtuve for free. You can also purchase

thier training videos on thier site at a very modest cost.

I believe thier training videos could explain setups better but overall, very informative and

especially good for newer traders wanting to step into the daytrader arena.

Very useful service

I subscribed to TodayTrader's day trading video replay service for over 12 months soon after I started trading. It was a huge advantage to be able to watch how people with a decade of trading experience day traded the volatile markets in 2008 and 2009 and adapted to ever changing market conditions. As a client, you see all their trades both good and bad, and you can learn different lessons from the winners and the losers. Their pre-market and post-market analysis was also very insightful. I learned not only specific types of day trading and swing trading setups but also how to manage positions better, manage risk more effectively, and strategies to do better in an environment rife with high frequency trading algorithms. It's a perfect service for beginner and intermediate traders. In addition, they have some great free video content on YouTube and offer a free daily watch list.

Pay just to watch

This trading service is average and offers subscribers the ability to "watch" a trader trade off his RediPlus platform. If you're new to trading and never seen anyone direct access trade, this service might be for you but if you're an experienced trader, the site doesn't really offer you much. The average number of subscribers was about 20 to 25 members. You're basically watching a trader trade stock and there was no organized educational content for subscribers. You can ask questions during trading hours but there really is nothing to gain from small talk. The traders also take several hours off for lunch and leave early on Fridays. Trading results were mixed and not always consistent as seen on the edited YouTube videos which mainly showed morning session trading. Most people subscribed on YouTube (who don't pay for the service) don't actually get to see most of the end of the day losing sessions. Only one of the owners actually trades while the other manages the website. The trader likes to focus only on low priced and illiquid stocks which are not too exciting. If everyone else is profiting off the big caps running on momentum, the trader is focusing only on small stocks coming off his Trade-Ideas stream. They also have a special relationship with StockTwits and like to promote their stuff on there. They recently came out with a swing trading service which has potential to grow but they have to compete with other well known services which are cheaper and better.
