Best credit card company
This review won't be applicable to everyone but if you don't have any debt and can pay off your credit card every month, Amex is the way to go.
Forget the conventional wisdom that says only use debit cards and cash, credit cards are evil.
If you fall into the category I mentioned above, you can make a ton with the Amex Rewards system. The Blue Cash is definitely one of the best cash back cards out there, and pay a much better value than skymiles cards or other types of reward cards. It used to be a lot better as it paid out 5% back on all gas, drugstore, and supermarket purchases and 1% on everything else as long as you spent the required threshold in a year which wasn't too bad. However, now they only pay out 3% cash back in supermarkets, 2% on drugstore, and gas purchases, and 1$ on everything else.
While it's disappointing that they cut the rewards rates, it is still one of the best cards out there for sure. Merchants hate Amex since they charge them so much, but as a consumer, this is an awesome card.
If you're not in it for the rewards system, they have tons of other great cards for business purposes, and low interests but I'm not too familiar with those. I'm always really impressed with the customer service since I never have to wait on hold and get my card rushed back with next day delivery when it gets lost.
Also, Amex used to be regarded as one of those companies that merchants never really accepted; however, I rarely encounter that experience. If it should arise though, I've got the Chase Freedom Visa for backup.
