nited Services Automobile Association (USAA) is a Fortune 500[2] financial services company offering banking, investing, and insurance to people and families that serve, or served, in the United States military. USAA offers a range of personal property and casualty (P&C) insurance including automobile insurance, homeowner insurance, renters insurance, valuable personal property insurance, and umbrella insurance. In addition to P&C insurance, USAA provides whole life insurance, term life insurance, and annuities. USAA's life insurance policies, while not completely unique in the industry, are different than most offerings since they do not include a war-exclusion clause[6] (also known as a "war clause"). Banking services are provided by the USAA Federal Savings Bank.USAA provides a limited discount brokerage service and a family of no-load mutual funds.Mutual funds established by other companies can also be purchased and held in USAA investing accounts. USAA also offers limited free Financial Planning advice, as well as a more thorough flat-fee or hourly-rate financial planning service.

love usaa
i love usaa i think they have great rates l i have never hada proplem with them i think they are one of the better banks for savings i had other savings accounts and think usaa is the best yet love the convenience and there apps makes everything so easy

Best out there for service members
Anyone who can get an account here would be very well served as it is a really well run operation. I cant say its good for investments as commissions are high but everything else is good

Was worth being in the military to bank with them!
Their customer service is legendary. The only downside is when dealing with them for a mortgage, that is farmed out to other companies and the service is hit or miss. The insurance and banking side is wonderful.Been with them for 20 + years.

Great Bank
I have used USAA Bank for many years, and they are very reliable and trustworth bank. I wish the CD interest rates were higher, but I understand. I love that they pay back your ATM fees when you withdraw money from nearly any bank's ATM. I will always use them as my primary bank.

I've been a customer since 1984
USAA banking services are first rate. I've had an account for 26 years with them and have always had great service.

When I opened a business checking account in 2001, USAA didn't have business checking so I had to use another bank (Bank of America). I wish I had everything at USAA as I really like their website and I always have good experiences when I call them.

I do frequent currency conversions and wire transfers to my foreign bank. The exchange rates seem high and combined with the wire fee. This and the lack of business checking are the only two downsides to USAA.

Overall I HIGHLY recommend USAA. First rate organization.

This is the best everything, they offer pretty much everything. Must have for anyone in the military.

Will never change banks!
They have the best insurance programs and best customer service of any organization I have ever dealt with. I always get my questions answered and problems solved with one phone call.

One of the best insurance and financial services companies
I've been a member for over 20 years and they are one of the best around. I have had bank accounts, investment accounts, auto insurance and property insurance with them (I wish they offered health insurance). If you try to get insurance quotes from other insurance companies, they will almost always tell you that they can't beat USAA. They distribute profits to their members, at least, annually. They are always very courteous and helpful and, as mentioned, always willing to work with their members on any financial challenges that come up.

if you can,use them
fortunately my father is a veteran and i have the opportunity to use USAA.at this point i only use their auto insurance and have been for 10 years.they have amazing rates and fortunately have only had to make a claim once and it was a smooth transaction. didnt give me any problems with the claim so i have no complaints
