I have tried using their service twice (why the second time I do not know) and have lost money both times. Their recommendations are terrible. I can do better using a dart board with a stock list as a target. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

So Far Not Worth It

I enrolled in their Expiration Week Countdown Service last week ... so far all but one of their suggestions have tanked. I truly wonder about the quality of their analysts. I was going to give them one more month but now I think I am done.

I should have looked at this site and other recommendations before signing up.

Crooks with lousy reccomendations

I lost 35k the first two months with their Elite Trader package using their trading methodology and option recommendations. These people are terrible. The recommendations are guaranteed to LOSE money!!!Stay away from these crooks!

avoid avoid avoid, worst recommendation ever

Please stay away from those people, they don't know anything in the market Liar, I started with them on nov 2012 for 1 month, I got the elite, They send u 5 trades a week, I entered with 15 k, they recommended 20 trades options, 19 were losers, I lost most of money with them,,,,rude peopel too, when u call them, they get upset if u wanna call and ask them any questions, Please stay away, they are expensive too

Offers alot.

I have paid for a few of their alert services...the education was excellent and the website offers a ton of free info..but the ideas were so-so. They also hammer you with emails.

Awful. Awful Service. Don't Waste Your Money like Me

Schaeffers paid newsletters have absolutely no insight and help you loose money. They make bold claims, which should have been an alarm bell for me, but don't deliver. Save your money, because you will loose more on their trade advise than their overpriced subscriptions.

I tested one of their Overnight Trader options advice newsletters at $150 per month and the result : a success rate of less than 1 in 10. So lose money on 10 recommendations and recoup 1/10 of your investments on one. That is if you were can stand losing long enough for them to get it right. They make is easy to sign up but very difficult to cancel. Cancel one day late and they will keep bill you the whole amount and not flinch when you ask for your money back.

Also look out, you will be bombarded with dozens of "proven" get rich quick advise. Seriously if it sounds too good to be true then it is. Waste of money and time.

Very Bad Subscription and very expensive

I bought the Elite trader in Dec 2010 and after 6 months of trading i lost 10.000$ with them + the 5000 that I paid for the subscription. in the first 3 months when I traded 1option/trade I was on plus an average 10% return on investment, but after that 3 months when I increased to 2 options/trade it turned down and I lost a lot of money. I stop trading with them and I cannot recommend this letter to anybody.

I think you need to be very risk adverse to buy such thing and will not work for most of the people. It didn't work for me.

Option education and trading

If you want yo loose all your money, go ahead and subscribe to Schaeffers Investment Research, it seems than instead of having serious analysts they have anal-ysts throwng darts in order to pick their stocks. Take for instance their latest recommendations. CLR and JCP for an April option calls, both were in a downtrend and the insiders were massively selling the stocks. This is a contrarian approach and of course the options failed miserably. You ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR PULLING THE TRIGGER, so do not blame them. I understand that not all recommendations will be successful, but they have lots more losers than winners. If you are a subscriber the best approach will be to run away and lose your subscription since they do not have a refund policy.
