I like Toni Turner's fundamental integrity but...
As a recent convert to penny plays, and her book being aimed at "real" stocks, I can only recommend her so much.
She basically redoes her "a beginner's guide to day trading online" almost note for note, with small differences, and this is troubling.
But her insights and mood and motivational skills make up for that in ways.
Toni eventually learned trading after a long road into making money, and now sells books and DVDs and seminars, currently. She writes articles on trading for places like tradingmarkets.com
I loved her play selection article on huge down days in the dow followed by huge rallies of the hundreds of points, as seen in the financial crisis and she noted, had occurred in the 2002 bear market which she banked coin on both times, if I recall correctly.
The best part of the book outlines an *exact* swing trading play setup from start to finish, from a watchlist watcher to the exit, and her reasons and trade management.
Also, her end of the book definitions and tips are handy, and her "you, the wizard of odds" ending section ditto. This and her trade outline mentioned above make it worth a look.
