The best book about trading i ever read!

The author of the book, Edwin Lefevre, actually had some interviews with Livermore and wrote an almost autobiographical account of Livermore's life using the character Livingston. This is not optional reading. It is required. There are more timeless lessons in this book about market speculation than in any other book.

A valuable look through an incredible persons eyes

Entertaining is an understatement. The greatest lesson any trader can learn from Livermore is the understanding of the psychological factor. He was a man with great personal battles, however he possessed an incredible ability to read and gauge sentiment and trade the disparity to his advantage. The best thing to learn from him is to shut out the noise as it will only cloud your judgment.

Timeless lesson

This recommended book is very entertaining and educational.

This book describes how the stock reacts to the orders and the news, which is timeless lesson in wall street.

I personally projected myself into him becasue i started with $2500, which was much more valuable than now, but the same amount made me feel good ;p

if the book has been publishing for more than 80yrs thats somehitng.

I enjoyed reading this and recommended to other people.

One of my first investing books

Im new to investing so I thought I would try book to improve knowledge. It was interesting, but I had some problems because Im not English speaker native. Gained lot of wisdom about the markets and trading and speculation but I believe in long term investing and owning companies that allow you to have a life and accomplish things and sleep at night.

You may like 'The Little Book That Beats the Market' by Greenblatt if you want sturdy companies (if there is such a thing). Easy read and can probably get it at your library.
