LightSpeed is fast, responsive, stable, reliable.

I've been trading with LightSpeed for several years. I very seldom have a problem and if I do I get it resolved within minutes of a call to their NY offices. They are continually upgrading and adding to the trading software with updates and revisions. Customer service is fast, friendly and reliable. Trade executions are lightning fast. The trading platform offers a nice variety of tools and filters. Finding a good trade setup is easy and efficient using filters such as Riser and Fallers (the high and low stocks for the day), and Ticker Alert (showing when stocks are hitting new highs or lows). The LightSpeed people take good care of their customers. For all of these reasons they're a successful company.

customizable HOD list

They have a customizable HOD list and they have very low commissions. The main two reasons why I use this.

Lightspeed Trading is a leading provider!

The trading platform offers a nice variety of tools and filters but I do not like the fact that their page does not cover my full screen.

I am enjoying their price structure, they have very low commissions and I am saving on the trading costs, while avoiding slippage of so many other active trader sites. Obviously the more volume you do as a trader, the more Lightspeed works with you to help make you a more successful trader with deep pricing discounts.

I have awesome Fills and I would recommend their service to anyone looking to get better fills on small cap stocks.

Basically the same thing as speed trader.

They use the same platform and both have awesome Fills i would recommend their service to anyone looking to get better fills on small cap stocks.

I'm pretty sure you're mistaken about the platform. Lightspeed Trader is their own software and no other firm has access to it, nor do they use SpeedTrader. You are right though that Lightspeed does live up to their name in the execution speed dept. Maybe you're thinking of a different platform?

best broker for active traders.

I seem to ALWAYS get filled when using lightspeed and i also like their level 2 as well. Good platform.
