The good:
- Cheap trades, $3 for stocks > $1/share and $3+0.5% of trade value for stocks < $1/share.
- Excellent share availability for shorting. I short a lot of cheap penny stocks that run up 75%+ in a single day and sogotrade has most of them available. Sometimes they are the only broker who has shares for a certain stock for shorting.
- Easy account creation, no hidden fees, no maintenance etc
- Straightforward order execution, fast fills for even sub penny stocks
- I never had any problem with their customer service. Very fast response if you call them.

The bad:
- No real time scanners for OTCBB
- Cannot trade pink sheets with them
- Account tracking is very basic compared to other brokers.

Overall, a great broker to start trading..excellent if you short stocks and have a small portfolio so do not want to pay a lot in commissions.

Great for the Price

SOGOTRADE is an Excellent On-Line Broker, with great Customer Service and Fast Executions. There Options Trading Platform has really come a long way and also has pretty good execution. The thing i like the most about SOGOTRADE is that there appears to be No restriction on Buying with "Unsettled Funds", in my experience with other on-line brokers if i sell "ABC" stock , then Buy "XYZ" stock on the same day ,I was RESTRICTED from selling the "XYZ" stock until the Funds from Selling "ABC's" stock settles which take T+3 and can turn out to be costly.

$3 Trade - Cheap and Best of the breed

It is almost a year since I go to hear of this web site and I am hooked to stocks because of this brokerage. They are good, have decent details on stocks and last not the least - are cheap.
