Presents good, well paced entry-level information.
Her personality turns me off a little, but I can bear it. She has good practical advice and presents it in a slow manner that is good for consumption. I hate verbose styles that are presented in a machine gun rate (eg, Jim Cramer).
I contribute to PBS every year, so I figured I might as well get Orman's package as a gift. This year I am in the middle of setting up a revocable living trust and am learning as much as I can before selecting an attorney. I doubt if I will use her program to set up my trust, but I will use it for its educational value and see how close it comes to what my selected attorney arrives at.
And I am interested in viewing her DVD addressing portfolio concerns at my stage of life. Maybe she will suggest something that I haven't thought about.
To all the negative critics, probably you are above and beyond many of us. For me, she has some good advice, yet I know that her program is not a total a final solution.
Since it's free, I'll take it and use whatever new information I get from it.
