Nice movie

We all know what Facebook is but not many know the story behind it's creation and that's where the value of this movie is. If you are a fan of David Fincher's movies (Fight Club, 7even etc.) than you don't want to miss it.

The story plot is based on Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg who creates the social networking website that would become known as Facebook, but is later sued by two brothers who claimed he stole their idea, and the co-founder who was later squeezed out of the business.

ilike this movie because you get to see how facebook started.Also you get to see marks personallity he is a asshole and i love it . Plus you see the passion for what he does even when he was being sued by eveyone the only thing he carred about was his site.Wish they could have had the IPO of face book in the movie so you could see it from Marks view.I think the FB stock is crap but would liked to have seen it in the moviie but the IPo did not happin till years later i think the banks know the FB ipo would be huge and they got behind it and took asmall profit and dumped it . The stock went to 42 for a short time then it fell off. I think this is because of the banks dumping it mean while eveyone elase was trying to get a order fill by this time the stock had allready dropped thanks to the banks . the stock hovered around 30s for a while but only because the company had a billion to pump up the stock so you saw this battle take place in the 30s on the stock . but in the end the stock dropped to the 20s and is still there to this day. i just don think the coompany has a real product to value the company Also FB was going to come out with a Facebook phone to add value to the stoc but that never went any where .. but in all i think the movie is really good and love to see mark would have lied to seen how they viewed the campany on the IPO maybe there will be a part 2 about that who knows

Hard to say how true or not this movie really was. But great to see a movie about one of the most revolutionary companies in the world.. Of which i use all the time. But lets face it. $FB stock is garbage!

Facebook!

I found it very interesting to learn a bit about how facebook started and how it progressed in such a short amount of time. I woulkd reccomend seeing this movie at least once.

Fantastic

I have watched over and over, and it's still a pleasure to see how Mark created the biggest digitalized social network.

From his dorm room, to his meeting with Sean Parker, the jealousy of others, everything is in there. Even the caracter of Mark, who marvelously interpreted by Jesse Eisenberg, has been well worked on to give us of feel of who Mark Zuckerberg really is.

A great motivational and inspirational movie, that should be watched by every business student!!

awesome one man few billions

Mark Zuckerberg is a hustler, and this movie is an interpretation of what a REAL hustler is. I really loved this movie.

Awesome movie

Even tho it's not an action movie, it doesn't have a boring second. The story is very interesing and I was actually surprise about how much I would like this movie.

Watched It for the 5th time last night

I don't care if it's a highly exaggerated version of what happened in real life, it's a great movie. Not sure why it's on this website for review, but it's a fantastic watch. Tons of suspense and drama and a mild look into the minds of the founders of Facebook.

don't use facebook, so I really didn't find this movie very

First while there is some good dialog, the movie's downfall is that it was too long at over 2 hours. Also, there isn't a lot that happens since it is just a film about the start up of facebook. Mark Zuckerberg is portrayed as sort of a nerd/genius but he is also a jerk with how he treats his one good friend, Eduardo. He basically tosses him aside once the hip, outgoing Sean Parker shows up, whom has connections to get facebook funded.

FINAL VERDICT: I didn't think it was that great, but I can see how a lot of people would find it entertaining. Since I don't care anything about Facebook, I say skip it.
