Good Picks, Excellent Customer Service
I joined NextOptions about a month ago. It is still too early to give a full review, but so far I like what I see. They have a free pick...

Shoddy service - too busy with other things.
I joined their service and opted for the 3 month introductory membership. At first they seemed to be genuinely interested in teaching. But gradually the excuses started coming. Their recommendations started running into losses and I lost quite a bit of my money. Worst of all was the excuses - busy with other clients (bigger fish), software upgrade, away on other business or sick. I got the impression that this was just a sideline while they were more interested in netting bigger fish (corporate clients). Then suddenly out of the blue, we get an email from the founder saying that he was going to terminate the service. He claims that even his closest colleagues who were running the show in his absence, were not aware of his decision which was made while he was in the hospital. What a crock! Finally..he claims that he interviewed 23 traders and the one that he was recommending was a guy called Rick Rouse who ran a service called MomentumOptions. Guess what.....if you do a google search for NextOptions...what name do you think comes up? Yeah..you guessed right...MomentumOptions. The founder just closes down the site and does not even honor the "lifetime members" giving some lame excuse about why he cannot honor the lifetime membership or even refund their money. He leaves without bothering about those that have paid for his service but have not received any. That goes to show you how committed he was to the whole process in the first place. An honorable guy would have made sure that members who've paid in advance, were refunded that portion of their unused membership fee. Hope I never see this site rise up again.

Another Spin Off - Another Rip Off
OK......an update on Next Options.

So after Nextoptions closed down it's service (Thank God for that !), all ex members got an email from one of the original Nextoptions guys..Dan Steiner. The main purpose in sending that email was to rope in all ex members of Next Options. But Dan sent an email with a twist. He gave a cock and bull story about being stuck in Singapore and having suffered like the rest of us i.e he claimed that he too got the short end of the stick. While he didn't openly accuse the founder Chad Cowan of any wrong doing, he hinted slyly that he to suffered like us. He was trying to get us all on his side. Then he said that he had met up with a Professor named Raphael Nem who developed some program for option picking. But since he sent the email with a Next Options email address, he had to give an explanatin about that. So his fertile brain came up with the reason that he bought the old computers from Next Options and this is why we were getting emails with the nextoption address. Nowhere did he mention that the original founder Chad was involved. He started by offering an option picking advisory for a certain price and always with a limited window. For example if you did not sign up by tomorrrow etc, the price would increase. All cheap tactics. So, I signed up for his service and received his list. That's when I realized that this new service was just old wine in new bottles. The lists were made up by guess who?? none other than Chad Cowan.

So, all you folks out there....you got bitten once...don't get bitten again. The old NextOptions site has reasurfaced under a new name...same old mediocre service....new name that is all. The new name is OPTIONS-TRADES.COM OR IVTRADES. Don't fall for this crap again I urge you.

If Chad took money for lifetime memberships in Nextoptions and turned around and closed down his site without any consideration for the lifetime members, he will do it again.

Re: Transition

12/4/2012

Hello everyone, as many of you know, I have been out since June of this year recuperating from some medical procedures I undertook to treat a condition. Thankfully everything seems to be ok now and I am feeling like my old self again.

All this downtime has given me a lot of time to think and reflect on my personal and business life and as such I ended up making a few decisions.

As you know, we have been running a Managed Futures & Equities Advisory business for many years and developments over the last year has brought us tremendous growth opportunities, which we have embraced and capitalized on. The growth in our business has been very demanding and we have not been able to really work on the Nextoptions program as much as we should. So I have taken the decision to divest the Nextoptions project and place it in the hands of someone who has the time and the ability to make great money making trades to help you grow your accounts.

So it is with great pleasure and confidence that I introduce you to Rick Rouse and his team over at MomentumOptionsTrading (M.O.T).

About Rick

First let me say that I spent a lot of time reaching out to colleagues in the industry and talking to potential partners. In fact, I spoke to some 23 different traders before I settled on Rick Rouse.

Rick is a 20year industry veteran who specializes in both Directional & Non-Directional Options trading strategies and has done very well for himself and his clients/members over the years. Before starting M.OT, he worked as a Broker/Analyst and researcher for Global Markets & Options Mentoring. He is eminently qualified and has had a good solid run of which he is very proud and for which he has earned the respect of many in the industry. So I have absolutely no doubt that you will be in good hands with Rick and his team. His daily track record is 148-54 with over 30 triple digit winners and he has a secondary newsletter, The Weekly Wrap, which is 26-0 so far this year. You will make some great trades with Rick. I have attached his track record for you.

The Transition

All current members with time remaining on their Quarterly or Annual subscription will be given a Free Trial to the M.O.T platform, which will last for 2 weeks. After this time expires you will have the choice to continue trading with M.O.T. I am confident that you will continue based on the money you will make during the trial period.

All current members with more than One (1) month remaining on their Quarterly subscription or six (6) months remaining on an Annual subscription should email nextoptions1@gmail.com for a refund.

All recurring payments to Nextoptions.com have been canceled and your payment profiles have been deleted. So there will be no further charge from us.

For those of you who Auto-trade, we have notified the auto-trading firm, Global Auto Trading, about the changes and they will make it easy for you to make the shift if you need to move your account to another Auto-Trading firm. They will contact you but you should follow it up to ensure that things move along smoothly.

If you are one of our 17 Lifetime members, Nextoptions will no longer exist so this will effectively end the Lifetime arrangement. But I encourage you to work with Rick and pick up a trial membership there. You will do very well with the info and trades that he will share with you.

Final Thoughts

Many of you have been trading with us from the beginning. So even though I look forward to taking our primary business to the next level, it is not without some regret that I part ways with you. When I started the Nextoptions project, I did not expect it to grow as quickly as it did and have the impact it has had. I met some very smart men and women via this project and I enjoyed every moment of it. I will be friends with many of you long after this transition.

I just notified Dan & Brian of my decision. Brian and I will be working from our offices in FL & NY and we will be sending Dan to Singapore to work at a small office we just set up there.

All the very best in your trading and I guarantee that you will make even better trades and more money trading with Rick and his team. You will find the link to the Free Trial below. You should act quickly and take advantage of it so you do not miss any of the trades.

Bottom line : poor performance
Although they have good customer service, timely and sufficient alert with clear entry/exit (at least 2 alerts per day), the terrible performance speaks for itself.

Having been with them for 6 months, feel like this service is their second job. thus totally understanble that they did a really mediocre job.

the price tag is very affordable. but so what ? you pay $200 /year for service and lose $2000 year in your account.

Very Disappointed
I've been with this service for a little under a year and the quality of the option selection has been simply awful. I don;t want to bash but I am writing this review because I'm hoping they read it and understand that the success or failure of their service affects the lives of those that use it. The attitude of we are not registered financial advisers is besides the point we are not asking you to manage our financial affairs but to assist in growing the risk capital we have allocated for this service. So when i hear excuses for the poor option selection is a result of a preoccupation with another client I have to call bullshit. They decide to remedy the situation by changing up their 'lead trader' and he is even worse than the last guy with a record of 4 straight losses. They did manage a recent win but for only those that manually took the trade because it wasn't executed for those that autotrade So the losing streak continues. I honestly believe that their methodology simply does not work. The other thing I would like to address that I hope you they update is their performance page. I was autotrading with them so i see what prices my account gets filled at and some of fill prices quoted are not even close to what they post on their website (i.e. XOM, PAY). So please I understand this is a business and marketing is a big part of acquiring new customers so I'm sure you can justify this by saying someone got filled at those prices but it wasn't me.

The last thing and this is really directed to the new guy sending out the email. I have counted now 3 separate trade alerts where the subject area which includes the price to buy is different then the body of the emails recommended price. Examples include VXX Call alert, subject line says .90 email body says .95. SPY Puts subject says 1.55 email body says buy at 1.75. SLV Call subject line 1.10 email body says 1.12. This lack of attention to detail which ultimately causes confusion is just simply unacceptable and speaks to the service as a whole IMHO.

So I am done with this service. I don't believe it will get better as I feel their trading methodology is fundamentally flawed. If you need proof just look at their results. Excuses or no excuses a losing record is just that a losing record.

Good luck with your other 'big' clients with these results I'm sure they won't be your clients for very much longer.

"Awesome Place To Learned & Chat" Neo "I Am Awesome"
I have been with Nextoptions since Feb 2011. So i been here for a while longer than most of the member. I enjoyed waking up and logging into the site to chat with them and everyone else. They provide trade setup before the market open and news that have affected the market. As will as support and resistance. They will tell us when they are getting in, getting out, any changes, and ect. They don't do anything without letting us know first. They provide closing note toward the end of the market. Remember they are not pointing a gun to our head to take the trade. Be selective and only trade what you feel comfortable. ALWAYS use stop.

If you want to learned how to trade as well as get guidance on trade this is a place for you. This is also a place were you can chat with a guy from MATRIX "NEO" were else can you find that. NEO is awewome, good looking (not to me because i am straight), nice hair (jealous of his hair) and good sense of humor (as long as it not direct toward me LOL). Everyone in the chatroom is very supportive of each other and learned from each other. Other member like NEO, Scardy Cat, TheMeatBaron, and ect offer great trades. Seems like it a Canadian thing, they are willing to shared their ideas. NEO a self proclaim "I AM AWESOME" is a pro (that is how i see him, but i am sure he will denied that). He also denied ever having sex with Monica Lewinsky too :) again just kidding. NEO is a valuable member to the NextOptions site. He can read p&f charts like nobody else. He has his own system that he follow. He encourage everyone to have their own system to trade on. He is a willing teacher. He has taken a lot of time from his busy schedule during and after market hour and late night trying to teach me. I think because he has no life or a man crush on me (just kidding). Anyone that can get me to read a book or make me do more stuff than watching TV is saying a lot cause i can't stop falling asleep when I read. But NEO make things simple. For that I thanks him for helping me to become a better trader and I am sure other members appreciate his input as well. I consider him a very good friend.

Mike (AKA Scardy Cat). What can I say about Mike........He is the other person that have a man crush on me :). I consider him my friend and my therapist :). He is very upbeat and positive individual. This is the type of a guy that is good to have around (just not in person lol). Kidding aside, Mike is willing to offer trade to anyone. Just like most of us he has his down and up moment, but he usually get back up and able to make the lost back and more. I have follow his trade and had some success. Very open and a great person to talk to. I chatted with him all the time. He keep the chatroom going with his nonsense stuff but it keep everyone loose and continue chatting. I think Ken definitely have a man crush on Mike (Just kidding Ken).

TheMeatBaron offer great trade too as long as you give it time to work out. Every morning he usually offer a trade that he is looking at. Then he will mention when he entered. Most of the time his trade work out very well. I have seen a lot of growth in him over the past 3 months. His trade are technically sound.

As for me I do offer trade too (Usually a trade that i don't take but work out very will for other if they take it). But when I am actually in the trade, the key is to do the opposite of what I do and you are guaranteed to make $$$ :). I use to trade blind without looking at anything other than what the option price show me (cheap) bad idea. I am getting better though thank to this site and chatroom . It is still an on going learning process but i have more confident in myself now then before.

As for other member they have been great too. Some talk more than the other, but I understand that most don't have the time to be in front of the computer all the time and are shy. Some will pop in and out to say hi and goodbye. Other like to chat when less people are on. But all in all we have a bunch of great member that are willing to teach, learned, and be supportive. I seen a lot of growth from member over the time i been here thank to this site. More and more people are beginning to have their own method from learning piece by piece from this site. There is one member in particular that i seen major change since this person became a member. The person is Pfish. Before she join, she was having a tough luck with her trade. But in the last month something click. She now have her own method of trading that work will for her (Just like NEO aka I AM AWESOME always telling us to have our own system that we can follow over and over). It seems like a 360 degree turn around for her. There are many other that i fail to mention that i have seen a lot of growth. As you can see from the example i have given, joining this site you can learned a lot. So join us at Nextoptions family. You will have fun trading and getting to know each other.

Please after you join make sure you follow clear direction. Allocate your fund correctly and set stop lost. That is the key to surviving this market. Also please don't take some of the stuff in the chatroom too seriously because most of us like to keep the chat going and we kids around and like to have fun.

Approach with great caution
I've noticed some of reviewers were only very short time with this newsletter. I've been with it for 8 months now and this is my opinion. I can not rate something 5 or 4 stars if I keep loosing money with it. They don't post performance data (why not if it's so good?) so this is what we've got for the whole month of July.

FB July 31 put Bought 6/28 $1.30 Sold 7/05 $0.75 (loss 42.3%)

XOM July 85 call B. 7/05 $1.65 Sold 7/06 $0.57 (loss 65.5%) (those who auto traded lost

almost entire premium)

MCD Aug 92.5 call B. 7/13 $1.80 still kept, last bid $0.18 (down 90%)

MCD Aug 92.5 call B. 7/23 $0.43 still kept, last bid $0.18 (down 58%)

SPY Aug 136 put B. 7/19 $1.58 Sold 7/20 $ 2.00 (gain 26.6%)

Spy Aug. 135 put B. 7/26 $1.70 Sold 7/27 $1.10 (loss 35.3%)

So if you began with $6,000 putting $1,000 in each of these trades, your balance would be now $3,355 minus trading fees. This is not 4 or 5 stars for me. Yes, this month wasn't the best one but it wasn't the only bad one either. Yes, we had a few spectacular trades but there were many disastrous trades also. The excuse we're getting lately is that they've been working with their more important advisory so they were too busy to watch our trades here. A few words about chat room many reviewers like so much. If you can't be in this chat room when markets are open it's pretty much useless because you can only see the last page of chat. When markets are open there is usually a dozen or two members (out of 400+) logged in. Chat room can be useful if you can chat during weekday and more experienced members are willing to share their knowledge or trading ideas. But often such experienced folks don't stay with this service long. So this is my advise to somebody who want's to try this service: approach with great caution. Don't believe to 5 star ratings, trade on paper for a month or trade with very small money until you see how it works and if you like it.

Inconsistent trading
First, let me say that the type of trading NextOptions does (short-term directional trades) is very difficult to do well.

I have been with NextOptions for a couple of months, and overall I am down about 25%. I stopped trading their picks at the beginning of July, but I believe if I had stuck around I would lost even more (I haven't kept up with their recent performance).

Obviously, losses are never fun, but I would have continued trading their picks if I had the confidence in them to turn things around. But I don't for a few reasons:

1. Lately they seem to just be on the completely wrong side of trades. What I mean is, they are buying puts when they should be buying calls, or vice-versa.

2. I started trading their picks manually, but then switched to autotrading with Global Autotrade. My first autotrade using their picks got stopped-out and filled well below market price. NextOptions blamed this on Global, but in my opinion it was NextOptions fault for using a stop order instead of a stop-limit order.

3. Two days ago I got an email from Chad (the owner) saying he was taking a break and was handing responsibilities over to his partners saying that, "I am simply not at my best/sharpest right now because there is a lot on my mind other than trading." While I appreciate the honesty, this is obviously not confidence-inspiring.

After having bad experiences with several newsletters that do short-term directional trades I have come to the conclusion that there isn't a newsletter out there that does this style of trading well over the long-term. I am sure there is someone out there that can do it well, but they don't seem to be sharing their expertise in a newsletter. So for me, I have stopped this style of trading altogether.

The best options pick site I've ever seen
I am kicking myself for not signing up sooner. I must say, I love trading, but this site makes trading so much more fun and profitable.

These guys are REAL pros and their trading style is on a different level than me. To be in the same room with Pros alone is worth the money and then a lot more. When they have time, They are always willing to take a look at what you think might be a good trade -during the trading day mind you. They are always touching base during the day as to the market, news, rumors and updating their possible picks and explain what we are waiting on in the market.

The chat room is awesome, you learn a lot by the discussions and what other traders are trading and some people even discuss their losses and why it didn't work-that's all great for learning.

The trades from nextoptions have great win/loss ratio and also have auto-trading for 9-5ers, trade alerts sent via twitter and email. You get it all on their picks: an explanation as to why this trade, max entry price, stop loss, and a real-time alert as to when they are getting in the trade.

The value for what you get is so well worth it. I paid a lot of money when I got into options for a little education-which I am thankful for, but It was way too much. I see so many things out there where it's just a teaser and costs are extremely high. I've seen sites similar to this that don't give you as much as this and the costs are astronomical in comparison to nextoptions.

Lastly, Chad and Dan who started the site and run the site are not just Prof. Traders, but very understanding and patient - I guess you could say they are very professional people as to how they conduct themselves in providing the service to the members.

My name is Steven Russell but on the site I change my avatar from time to time for fun and laughs with other members. I hope to see you inside if you decide to join.

The Best Options Trading Site Out There! And lots of fun!
I was once told by an experienced option trader that if I wanted to learn how to trade options that I would need certain tools and some money to play with. I asked what do I need then? He said "Get yourself a paper bag full of money, a shovel, some gasoline and a match. Go into your back yard, dig a hole, throw the bag full of money in, douse it with gasoline, and light a match. Drop the match on the bag full of money." I said, "Are you kidding me?" He said "No that is lesson number one in options trading if you don't know what you are getting into." The moral of the story is that yes... I went for it anyway, going in blind. I lost most of my bag full of money... from 5k down to 9 hundred dollars in a week. Then I paid attention, watched the market carefully and within two months I turned that 900 dollars into 23k. It was the dot.com days. Throw a dart and you couldn't lose. I still didn't really know everything about options trading. I didn't know my "Greeks" My 23k soon dropped back to my 5k that I started out with and I quit options trading. My greed took the better of me. I went back to being a painting contractor where it was sure money.

After suffering a severe heart attack at a fairly young age two years ago. I flatlined and died. They revived me. When I came to, I didn't realize that the worst was over. Went back to painting and once my regular clients found out about my incident, my painting business went from 6 figures down to almost nothing. They didn't want to touch me in fear that I would drop dead on the job. I nearly lost everything that I had worked so hard for, house assets, and retirement fund. I had to figure another way to make a living. I remembered options trading and how much I loved it. Stumbled on this very site, read the reviews about Nextoptions.com. Sounded good. Joined. And no. I am not going to say that this site saved my life. But what it did do was give me a good foundation in learning how to trade options again. The right way. Not by the seat of my pants like I always did.

Needless to say I was fairly skeptical about joining another trading site. Hell... I had tried many and they all just took my money and laughed all the way to the bank. Not here. I remember I had some concerns after joining Nextoptions. I emailed them, and to my surprise I had a response litterally in minutes from Dan, one of the founders of the site. It blew me away. I told him how much I appreciated his quick response. We emailed back and forth several times and I was put totally at ease. It took me a few months to finally join the chat room. There I met Chad another founder of the site who was always helpful with any questions I had. If the response wasn't immediate, it always came sometime during the trading session. Hey they have a life too. Everybody has to go to the bathroom sometime or other. LOL. I can't say I necessarily agree with their option picks all the time. But that is just me. I am stubborn and like to trade my own things. What I do like is that when they do pick something, they have a very sound explanation as to why they are suggesting that trade for the day. This is emailed to you before the trading day It always makes sense.

I am for real. I am not paid to write this review. All I can say is these guys are honest and true. They really care about their members. Not only do I get great advice from the founders of this site but I also get it from the other members in the chat room who trade on this site. I have learned so many different styles of trading, from the mavericks to the ultra conservative. I can say that I have made friends there who I know will be friends for life even though I havn't met them. They are all so helpful and kind and always willing to give whatever knowledge they have in trading options. Even in the duldrums of a trading day it is fun because we giggle and laugh and poke fun at each other. I have even been reprimanded for going overboard sometimes and was put in my corner for a time out. My name is MIke Walker. You will see me there if you join. All I say is don't be shy. No questions are too stupid. We were all there at one time. So please ask. If Chad or Dan don't respond, someone else will. And please join in the chat room and have some fun. I now wake up in the morning with a bounce in my step. I havn't given up my day job yet but I plan to soon. I have a wee trading account at this point but I have been consistently making great returns from the great advice given to me from the fine people at this site. So please consider joining. I can guarantee that you will have fun and make some real money.

Peace out!

Mike Walker

Another expensive lesson learned
Started getting emails apologizing for lack of trades because they were busy with their main client, and he "owed" us some good trades. No emotional trading, please!

The last straw was throwing good money after bad on the MCD trade, calling it "lowering the basis". I guess I can share the blame by signing up for autrading.

Guys, either run this like a business not at all, please.
