An outstanding financial resource with a user friendly site!

I rarely give product reviews, but in the case of steadyoptions.com and its founder Kim K., I have to give a review. In one sentence I can only say the founder Kim, the site's design, and the site's members are all OUTSTANDING!

The knowledge delivered by Kim and the community the site has makes this site an extremely valuable resource. I STRESS community too. The other members on this site also share their ideas and knowledge. Members even share backtesting results.

Kim has always been willing to go the extra mile to make sure I have been fully satisfied. I am not sure how he can do all the things he does, but he is always prompt and thorough in his responses.

Incredibly helpful, collaborative, and honest

I joined SteadyOptions after reading a number of Kim Klaiman's articles on non-directional trading. While his trading methodology is successful, I'm most impressed by his thoroughness, honesty, ethics, and accessibility.

From the time I joined, I've felt like part of a community. The trading methods are clear, complete, and well-explained for all skill levels. Questions are encouraged, and answered quickly. Emphasis is placed on learning and understanding first, and members care about helping one another.

Upcoming trades are discussed and dissected beforehand, and optimal entries and exits are determined. Executed trades are then monitored and analyzed through to closing. There's complete transparency in all steps of the trading process, with a focus on continual refinement of the strategy.

This is not an "advertise the wins, hide the losses" community. It is intellectually honest, analytical (data-driven), and precise--lots of very bright people are here, maximizing their trading success.

Non-Directional Option trades

I'm a full time trader and been a subscriber for 5 months. During this time I have traded all the recommendations and have been very happy with the returns. They have been consistent high probability trades. Using the Forum, you can read in-depth discussions on each trade. Kim Klaiman and members research and discuss the trades several days prior to making them. So, you will be more prepared to take action when Kim makes the trade announcement.

The main trades are non-directional earnings trades, based on increasing volatility for stocks. There's usually 3-4 earnings trades, with an IC and/or a calendar at the same time. Some weeks there are a lot of earnings trades and others very few. It's easier and less stressful for me to make several trades with a high probability of profits that comfortably accumulate. This easily fits into my daily trading schedule. I highly recommend SteadyOptions.

You will not find a better site then this for options. Kim is 100percent transparent, no hidden anything.

No question to stupid to ask, ask away and get great help from alot of people. Lots and lots of info. If you want to make money and learn while doing it, this is the place for you. A great site.

Honest, Professional, Transparent, Profitable, & Educational

Steady Options is a relatively new newsletter that is based on making trades that take advantage of rising implied volatility prior to earnings announcements. The strategy works remarkably well, as evidenced by the performance of the service. The founder of the newsletter, Kim Klaiman, has been trading this strategy for several years and has quite a bit of experience. He trades all of his recommendations himself in his own account, and he emails trade notices immediately after he places a trade. This gives subscribers the opportunity to perform identical trades. Unlike many of the newsletters I've tried, Kim is completely honest and transparent with his trades and performance. He even emails screen shots of each of his trades so that subscribers can see, firsthand, the details of his trades. Not every trade is a winner, and this newsletter is not intended for traders looking to double or triple their money in a short amount of time; instead, as the name of the newsletter suggests, the strategy provides steady and consistent returns without taking on too much risk.

In addition, Steady Options consists of a friendly community of traders that share and discuss ideas and strategies. Newbies are encouraged to ask questions, which are promptly answered by Kim or one of the other knowledgeable traders. This feature of the newsletter has served as a tremendous learning experience for individuals new to options trading such as myself. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking to make money by participating in low-risk trades. I also recommend this newsletter for those interested in learning more about options trading by joining a friendly and professional community.

Honest, dedicated service, good performance

There are many subscription services out there that promise you to 'double your money in one year with low risk' etc. What I like about steady option is that Kim doesn't make silly promises and just lets his performance speak for itself. He executes all trades that you'll see in the forum himself so these are real fills and real performance. He follows a strategy that allows him to make consistent returns that (mostly) don't depend on him being right about the market going up or down. It's a great strategy to add if your portfolio is very dependent on the market going up.

The group is great if you are new to options as Kim (and other experienced members) patiently explain option and trading basics.

I would highly recommend SteadyOptions.

Excellent Site, educational and informative

The best review I can leave about Kim's site (our site) is that YOU HAVE TO TRY IT FOR YOURSELVES.

It is not easy to understand and grasp the concepts of non-directional options trading, the Greeks, the spreads ...etc, in fact it is VERY DIFFICULT, but Kim and Chris and the tens of others working together as an investment group, ALL, are extremely helpful and understanding and they will go out of their way to explain to the novices like myself, what, how, when, where ...etc.

Give it a try, there is nothing to lose, in fact there are profit opportunities for the small to medium investors to be taken.

Thank u Kim for the site and the help u keep providing.

I would like to see the next step and see Kim and Chris and some of the others form a small "human-run" brokerage firm where they can invest my money for me in such types of trading, a thing I believe many like me prefer :-)

Great education on non-directional strategies

I first discovered Kim's work through his articles on Seeking Alpha (http://seekingalpha.com/author/kim-klaiman/articles). I was impressed by his knowledge, so when he started a site I decided it was worth a shot.

SteadyOptions provides a high frequency of trades. While the winning percentage is relatively low (around 60% I believe), the losers are so small in comparison to the winners that it is still highly profitable.

The biggest thing for me is the activity of the forum. If you don't understand something, Kim will take the time to explain it to you, not matter how basic (or complicated) it may be. It's very helpful to have direct access to someone with his level of knowledge.

The only negative for me is that there is no auto-trading with this service. But if you are looking to really learn about non-directional plays while making a nice profit, then SteadyOptions is the place to be.
