Dale talks way too much, giving very little info.

The small amount of info you do get could be summed up in ten minutes instead of an hr.

Most of what he has to say involves the past. Not very helpful in finding good trades. He also berates the students sometimes calling the "stupid"; not a very good way to teach.

The course might work but Dale needs to change his technique or get someone else to teach the course.

I wish I could get my money back.

Too much repetition, Too much hype, zero actual trades.

The webinars are far too long and provide too few trading setups. This service has a lot of filler and very little meat & potatoes. The webinars are sometimes 3 hrs long (no joke) and he only goes over around 10 stocks. Most of these are after they moved (which he takes credit for). Cut the webinars down to 20 minutes and start showing some trades. Dale claims he never loses which makes me question his ethics. Everyone loses. I wish I could get my money back.

Not Great

The difficult part is that I had to sit through hours & hours of Dale speaking just to get a few minutes of usable techniques. This guy is very full of himself and is sometimes mean to his students. I never saw him place trades & most of his calls were about stocks that had already gone up. Dale makes tons of promises but just doesn't deliver. There are probably some good MACD techniques here, but the teacher does a poor job of communicating how to actually make money. Showing me stocks that have already moved doesn't help me make money unless I have a time machine.

Fraud

One of the worst services out there. 99% of Dale's calls are after a stock has already moved. How hard is it to call them after the fact? And then Dale screams for 3 hrs about how well his system works. He rarely points out a stock ahead of time and never shows his track record. Does he even trade. This guy is a joke. And if a stock he talks about doesn't move, he just says, "I never traded that." Zero transparency. This guy lives off his subscription service, not his trading profits because he is a horrible trader.

Learned the pattern, but no actual calls

The pattern is basically double top or double bottom with MACD divergence.

Line it up with higher time frame. Simple, really.

The pattern actually is very potent for options, because the option price is cheaper when hitting the double bottom for calls.

It is ok for a month of service, but after that you will need to find a scanner software to find the pattern. I still can't find any. Or, you could scan manually the entire market.

I wish he would just call the stocks to watch and the plays. Dan Zanger did tell where to enter and when to fold. I am not affliated with Dan, but his service is much better.

Could and should be MUCH better.

Looking at the reviews here, I guess the guy employs about 5 people.

I subscribed to this site for a month and must say I find the reviews here startling. The pitch is that a certain combination of technical chart patters can yield excellent returns. That's true. But they do not happen very often at all. Of course the retort is that they do not have to. In fact, we should only have to trade maybe once a month, even once a quarter!!! Uhh ok.

But here is the problem. And its the Achilles heel of this service. I watched several of the both the newly released as well as the archived webinars for the service going back months. They are all the same thing.

The content is approximately 80 % haranguing. I mean the guy does not speak, he yells.

Its a constant. "This is SOO simple!!" "Its obvious, anyone can do this". "Can't you understand this???!!" Over and over and over for an hour. Add in about 10-15% shooting the breeze with the attendees and you MIGHT be left with 5% instruction.

Dale has surrounded himself with true believers and these kool-aid drinkers frown on any serious questioning of the methods.

But my favorites were the postings in the newsgroup crowing about how he made 800% on Amazon yesterday, as an example. Followed by the usual "This is SOO simple!!" "Its obvious, anyone can do this". "Can't you understand this???!!" Of course he could not be bothered to send out any emails alerts on this stock's pattern. That's because 'you must learn to fish for yourself'. I mean its a real hoot.

What's also funny are the responses from the peanut gallery who typically did not see the pattern and throw a volley of questions about the pattern.

I think the whole setup, the weekly harangues that pass as webinars, the newsgroup etc are little more than come-ons for the $1395 seminars and if you can't afford that, the $695 DVD course.

Dale could really do something with this service if he did actual instruction, delving into the patterns in detail and explaining caveats and etc. And cut way down on the haranguing.

He should also alert his customers to emerging patterns in real time and update and comment on them throughout the day. But that would be to much like work. Its easier to turn on the mike and start haranguing.

So as it stands now this is pure snake oil.

I fully expect the kool-aid drinkers to vilify me for this review accusing me of raping the pope. But in its present form, the emperor has no clothes.

The most accurate method i have ever seen

I have been following Dale for just over one year. He really has found a method that is 100% accurate in predicting the movement of stocks or any other commodity that can be tracked with a MACD. In fact in the year I have never seen him be wrong once. He has given away many 500 to1000% winners. But that is not his purpose. His purpose is to teach us how to do it ourselves. This is not a program that tells you what to buy or sell. It teaches us how to determine that ourselves down to the moment to transact. It is simply amazing but based on simple Newtonian physics. It looks simple and your emotional conditioning may make it hard to believe or accept but it is real.

Dale has really discovered how to observe teh underlying forces that move the market. Using Divergences of MACD and price on different time frames and cooborrating with other factors you can really pick huge winners. Even though it is simple it soes seem to take a year or two to get it, and people who have stuck to it and studied hard are making big money consistently.

Challenging, Pithy, Clever, and Uniquely Insightful

Dale Wheatley is an exceptional, passionate and creative in his approach to using the MACD indicator for directional stock analysis of the chart patterns. It is the most creative and insightful approach to teaching the student how to interpret the relationship between the price and the MACD indicator. It takes focused attention and committed time to let his teachings direct your understanding of this analysis. I have been studying and learning from his lectures for years, and almost every time I listen to him my appreciation and understanding increases. The value is the greatest investment return on any of the dollars I've spent on financial advice! I want to train all my kids to understand this simple yet creatively powerful method of chart analysis. Can't recommend this highly enough for your investment dollar, but you have to be able to listen, learn and focus on these true principles of chart analysis!

Straight up teaching/mentor relationship beyond compare.

It's been said that when the student is ready, the teacher arrives. Dale arrived for me just under one year ago. I had been looking for a system and method of options trading that would fit me and not encumber the process with layers of complexity. Dale's system does just that. If you are not familiar with him, he is an innovator and, as a result, a very successful options trader; but beyond those two important attributes, Dale is a marvelous teacher. I've only experienced two excellent teachers in my life. The first was over 30 years ago while studying architecture in college. Dale is the second. Both share the gift of showing you the path and then letting you grow into the right answer for you. Dale's system cannot be better for anyone desiring to learn and trade options successfully. Others can attest to that. The system is amazingly simple, yet does require commitment and focus to produce consistent results. What truly makes him remarkable is his enthusiasm and love for teaching what he himself has discovered from his 25 years of experience. It's also been said that the mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size. I encourage you to try Dale's teaching, but beware, you may find that you cannot go back the way you came. In my experience, that is a very good thing.

Excellent options trading strategy

I have looked at many trading strategies over the past 20+ years and can say this strategy is absolutely the best I've seen. I like it because it is not a black box plan. I can actually look at the chart and using the trading knowledge he teaches, I can understand what will happen to price. I would not yet consider myself a successful trader using the system but I'm confident that I will become one. I've been in the classes for 2 years and do not plan to quit now. People who have prior trading knowledge will have to forget a lot of what they think they know about trading to effectively use the strategy because it is a different interpretation of technical indicators. I am absolutely satisfied with Dale's teaching of the method.
