Best advise I can give is to read Larry s book , follow his rules and don't spice the trades with your own strategy and you r a winner. Really.

Reduces Technical Analysis to One Number
It's a simple concept -- buy stocks when they have a high PowerRating (on a scale of 1-10) indicating that they will outperform the market. You can query the PowerRating for any stock for free. The power comes in the paid membership that gives you various lists like one of the 9's and 10's and another with the 1's and 2's (if you want to short stocks or buy put options).

While it seems like a great idea, they aren't doing anything you couldn't do yourself with a good stock screener. It's not like they have some sort of magic system that no one else can duplicate. Basically, stocks with high PowerRatings are ones that are oversold on a long-term uptrend and are hitting some level of support. Low PowerRatings are stocks that are overbought and hitting some level of resistance. I'm sure there is a little more to their analysis, but that seems to be the gist of it.

So if you like the idea of paying for a list to use as your screener for potential hot stocks, then go ahead and get a paid membership. Or, do your own screening and then query the PowerRating of a potential stock for free. It will either confirm your analysis if the stock has a high rating or make you think twice if it has a lower rating.
