"yea, effective PPIs & CPIs are just rosy, very mild inflation...hell, there's deflation out there! What a bunch of BS. Effective spreads vs quoted spreads, people...the movers of the market bluff all the time, it tenderizes the sheep, makes em tastier for the big boys."

The BLS is a very bureaucratic agency, it plays an important role providing CPI, PPI, Unemployment, etc. which we depend on.... but BLS is terribly inefficient. I did an internship with them and was very unimpressed with typical employee work habits.
