Very fast real-time filtering software

I`ve used EF for about two years, mainly for their scanners & realtime filtering which is the fastest i`ve seen. If your`re a daytrader and wants to find out which stocks are moving in the markets, this is the software you need.

They also offer level2, news filtering, watchlists & tradeconnect which lets you trade directly from their software. Although, only a handful of brokers are connected to this service at this time.

They offer a 30 day free trial so i highly recommend you try them out.

It is very pricey, but a good product.

If you are a technical trader who trades off of things like moving average crossovers, support/resistance, and multiple candle patterns, than this is a great product for you. This is due to the fact that you are alerted of these things in real time. However, if you are not a pure technical trader, than there are cheaper ways to go depending on your strategy.

Great real time alerting, but a lot of unrealized potential

Cons:

no weekly, monthly charting

previous day on chart unviewable from 0000 est to 0515 est

overall lack in charting features; indicators, scripting, etc.

no options

Pros:

real time watch lists that auto update

use of dollar volume which I haven't seen in any other program

good intraday scanning capabilities (using % in 5 min, 10 min, etc)

There is no reason you shouldn't try the trial. A month of Equityfeed is certainly worth $20 dollars, especially if you day trade of trade frequently. Then it is just a matter of does the program pay for itself in the long run. If you trade penny stocks frequently it is even more essential. Their OTC stock list is updated faster than any other I've seen. The one thing I love about Equityfeed is their ideas are fantastic. I would be in heaven if they merged with Telechart or TOS. :)

Must have for real traders

EquityFeed is a must have for traders. Definitely take the trial and see if it helps you out any. For me, I like to have scrolling high of days along with other scans that spit out stocks of interest to me based on what I set. I'm not a big OTC trader but I have seen that it will provide some great information for scanning those as well.

Great scanning tool for all U.S markets

I`ve used Equityfeed for about two years and i love it, i use it primarily for scanning the markets for stocks news, price, volume etc. The interface is very clean & simple looking and there is also the possibility to customize fonts style, size etc.

The application is java based so it runs very smooth and fast.

The only thing i don`t like about it is the charting but there are of course other sources for this..

Pricing is ok, they offer different data packages depending on which markets you need real-time data for, i use the "microcap" package myself which covers all stocks on the major exhanges including OTC & Pinksheets under $5.00, costs me $99/month.

They also have a free 30-day trial so i highly recommend everyone to try it out.

See the entire stock market in realtime

You can see every symbol price. volume, trades, percentage change in real time in one window. You can sort them, create your own filters, see logs when they enter the criteria and leave. See after market, pre market, intraday price changes, number of trades. The chart software sucks and shows up upside down on my machine. You can link up your TDAmeritrade account and trade from the app. App is java based so you can run it on all operating systems and its really fast. You can see like 12k symbols in one window and scroll through them and sort them. The downside is the price, $180 for all equities, $100 for equities under $5, $70 for only OTC/PINK. $1 for a month trial and its worth a look.

Great looking scanning tool with lots of features

I really like this tool. It has everything you need to scan for all levels of equities. I use it for OTC BB, and NASDAQ, AMEX and NY stock under 5 bucks. It also has level 2 so it offers a great montage for trading. I really like the way it looks and it is really easy to use. My only gripe with it is it occasionally crashes and it does not reboot quickly. Overall, if you need a good scanner, this will tick a lot of the boxes.

Worth the money !!!

Been Using EF for while now, all i have to say that i didn't pay a dime for it. I have made more money using it then i did when i didn't have it. its Fast its easy to use and gives you the whole market in the palm of your hand.. basically..

Fastest News feed

It is the fastest news feed for pennies by far - but they really need to do something about filtering out all the fluff news. You guys need to hire someone to do this. You could charge more if you did. I for one would gladly pay.
