It won't load

I'm using google chrome and the website won't load, the only thing I can see is Ads

I think is not compatible with multiple browser :(

This is awesome for a free service.

However, if I were paying money for it than I would definately have a few complaints. My trading strategy, which is buyng in the middle of technical breakouts, Freestockcharts.com is great for those no brainer charts. You can also draw your own trendlines and excellerator bands. It also identifies stocks that will have extremely great charts. When it comes down to it, I think this is a great great product like I said in the title for its price :)

Great Free Resource

I used the free platform for quite a while, and also pay for the $35 service mentioned in another review. It's well worth the money, and quite useful for putting together my option spreads. The flexibility and ease of use is fantastic, and their training webcasts are great too.

Michael Thompson is a great instructor, and often shares his own settings for various indicators/oscillators which is very helpful for people that are new to charting, setting up their analysis plan, and improving on what they "think" they already know.

I've noticed some lag from time to time on lightly traded equities, but I have no interest in those types of candidates anyway. I'm not a day trader, have no desire to be. I trade option spreads on equities, indexes and ETF's. Only high volume candidates with heavy open interest for maximum liquidity.

It's always a good idea to have more than one charting/pricing resource for accuracy sake. My primary is my brokerage account, as is the case with any serious trader. If you're blindly placing trades based on FSC alone, the problem is not software... it's you (lol).

Great Charting for technicals

Love free stock charts. I currently use chart.ly and freestockcharts.com and so far free stock charts has been a bit more conducive for what I need. Been able to really keep my charts together and keep things organized with my technicals as well. Awesome way to create watchlists when you don't have the handy TOS around.

Free is the best

The fact that you can use it for free is a good enough reason to use the site, however I am a paying member and to be honest the scans are a little subpar compared to TDA, the overall set up seems a little unrefined compared to some of the other services I have used. I use Equityfeed now so I will be cancelling my membership to FSC but overall the value and service is average.

I am not bashing I think that the site has value but the 35.00 a month I am paying right now is not worth it when you consider what you get for 35 bucks and what you can get for free with TDA and I can do most of it for free on the same site. Hope this helps...

I would recommend the free portion of this site to a friend but I would advise against the paid portion just my opinion though.

If you can't trade these charts, you can't trade.

Like the name says, 'free' and great place to become familiar with indicators, if you're new to trading. But the fact is, I know a few terrific traders too who find these charts all they need. If you can't make money, dont blame the chart, blame the trader.

Useless for live trading.

Inaccurate closing prices that happen many times throughout the day. That means all the indicator signals are wrong. If you are an active trader don't use this charting software. Its ok to learn basics but nothing more.

Best free site I know of

Loved it. But I needed more room and wanted my 'drawing and notes' to stay with me, so I upgraded to the 'pay version' TC2000
