This is interesting, but I don't think you can really build a trading strategy around bollinger bands... it's just a piece of the puzzle, a small piece, with price and volume being the big two. Bollinger bands are very limited much like many other indicators in that they don't work consistently. Trending stocks can seem very overbought forever..... so you really have to distinguish between variation that is somewhat random vs. non-random.... I believe this a concept that traders can actually use to make money.
