Waste of time & money!
This is my honest opinion!
I have spent a little bit over a year in the OTC chat room.
There are two "Moderators". One is called Mountain Trades
and the other one BBStock. Mountain Trades is pretty much the only
person "speaking" in this room. Usually from 9:15 am till 10:15 am and
3:15 to 4:00 pm. In between you get the occasional pump from BBstock, but
no other alerts. Zzzzzzzzzzzz all day!
Some of MT's "alerts" come from Equity Feed Streaming News
(which you can get for $99,- at equityfeed.com) The main portion of
his alerts are coming from his crystal ball I suspect and have a 20/80
success rate. Each time a stock that he alerted is a winner, it will be announced
everywhere. Come oh you sheep, join our chat room for we alert the winners!
The 80% that are turds are never being mentioned again. Good luck getting
rid of them! I suspect Mountain Trades as being the master of front loading!
He buys a turd, then alerts and sells for a quick scalp. He's the winner, the
unfortunate members who drank his cool aid, lose. As did I, many times over.
I have never once seen him say "Man, I was wrong on this one"
BBStock: After watching BBStock's alerts for months and months, one can tell that he only alerts
and then pumps HIS stock picks. If you are on twitter, I suggest you add " i_like_bb_stock " and then stay the hell away from the stocks he alerts!! I can tell that a lot of times he bought the losing stocks that MT alerted. Now stuck with the worthless shares he will alert them on twitter and in the chat room for weeks. I know for a fact that other trading chat rooms would have muted him for such "alerts" indefinitely.
As a semi new trader, I had questions, (pertaining a scanner set up) so I "private messaged" first Mountain Trades, then BBStock to see if they (as knowledgeable moderators) could give me advice. Well that was fun! I felt chewed up and spit out. Both of them carry a language that is simply unacceptable in a professional environment. Sadly neither of them was able or willing to answer my question either.
The one star for entertainment value goes to BBStock because of the comments he makes in chat when his Stock Picks go south.
My last resort was Nate Michaud, the "Investors Underground Guru" himself. I emailed him and his response was shot, unfriendly and again, did NOT answer my question. He suggested to "google" my question or to look on YouTube. I replied with a question to one of his instructional video's he has posted all over the UI website, which was a complete waste of time because that email never even got answered.
Webinars: I attended several of those. Very disappointed. Nate seems to have problems to maintain a degree of professionalism in his language. It's my understanding that language should be succinct, especially if you're trying to convey class or intellect in a professional environment, especially with paying members.
Anyway, UI Webinars: This is how it works: Members are asking their comments and questions in chat and Nate cherry picks which one he wants to answer. Be aware that IF he answers to your comment or question, he will not tolerate you questioning any of what he is "teaching" (and I am using that term loosely) also, he does not like follow up questions either.
Investors Underground DVD:
I wish i never was suckered into buying this thing. People! There is not one thing on this DVD that you cannot find for FREE on google or YouTube. Also, most of the information is completely outdated! Also again, the language!! As an adult professional person, this language just irks me! What you are paying for in this DVD is the "ABCD Pattern".... and may I add a "LOL" Because you can find that information all over the internet FOR FREE!
In closing, I would like to congratulate Nathan Michaud for running a successful Momentum Chat Room. If you are able to trade 5 figure amounts, these two chat rooms could be of value to you.
However, if your account only allows you to trade OTC and Pinkies, I STRONGLY suggest you look elsewhere!
