Great to use as a trade journal and for following traders
I really like profit.ly mainly because it is a good way to track your previous trades, and look at your overall performance over certain time periods.

One big problem with it though is that some people don't verify their trades, so you can simply make them up. Even members that verify their trades can not post their losses, and so making it look like they are really profitable when really they might just not post all their losses. I think profit.ly should make it so you can 'skip' submitting certain trades, and it makes the whole thing kind of pointless for verifying other members trades.

The only reason I use it really is to track my own performance and to follow a few traders that seem to be honest with their trades. Some people go off their performances on profit.ly when deciding whether to buy their products, which is a bad idea as like I said earlier, you can make it look like you are successful when really you might be a complete failure.

At this site you can see the trades other people are doing and how much they profited. You can also see their account balances and compare them to other traders. Great service

Proof
If you want your trades verified and then you want other people to see how much $$$ you're making, this is the website for you. It helps you personally track your growth. It also gives you information on other traders' trades. I highly recommend it.

Use This Tool For Every Trade....Transparency Rules
So I am a losing trader as of this post, but without profit.ly I would not really know how much I am down. This is the best tool anywhere online for actually proving how good of a trader you are.

Without a verified trade, I don't trust a trade that anyone tells me.

If you don't use this service, you might as well not talk about how good of a trader you are.

Super service
Have just recently started using this service about a month ago and really love using it. I don't use it for every trade I do because I do a lot of futures trading but have been using it for the trades I take with PennyStock Millionaire and PennyStock Silver. Really neat to see all the other traders posting their information and trades for all the world to see. A lot of neat features also such as the ability to sort info daily, weekly, monthly as well as post information to twitter, facebook, etc. What a great service and website.

Is Your Firm Profitable? Prove It.
finally a site that will set the standard for these "trading coaches" who claim they make tons of money trading and will teach you.

1. if they were making as much as their extravagant claims, why would they share this information with anyone else? wouldn't they want to keep this information as secretive as possible? Gets you thinking, doesn't it?

2. If any trading coach or chat room is profitable, they should have no problems connecting their accounts to profit.ly Since they make so much trading, this is a great idea! it will prove to their students how qualified their mentor is. If they refuse to post their trades, there is no transparency and you should shy away from that.

The only exclusion would be institutional desks trading serious strategies with millions and millions behind them. Your trading coach calling out trades on a demo does not have any excuse for not posting it. USE YOUR BRAINS PEOPLE. REQUIRE PROOF BEFORE LAYING OUT YOUR MONEY. THIS WILL AVOID A LOT OF THE BAD REVIEWS OF TRADING COACHES WHO LOST MONEY FOR THE CLIENT. AVOID THEM BY ONLY USING TRUSTED 7 VERIFIABLE SOURCES NOW POSSIBLE THANKS TO PROFIT.LY

I use this tool to track my overall performance. Its great for that and also for show and tell. Only downfall that I see is that even though you can verify, you can also erase those bad trades. Dont like that. Gives one a way to fudge the numbers and not be honest. Im guessing this feature may be tossed in the next incarnation.

Great way to verify trades
I have never signed up to a newsletter unless thy have a profit.ly this is just about the only way to verify the trades of another indivduals. With a lot of scams and liers out there profit.ly is a great way to see who is a liar and who is a good trader. I use profit.ly all the time!

Very entertaining and great idea
There should be more sites like this one. I like transparency. The problem with it is that there are many traders that claim winnings and high returns but don't post all trades (ex losing ones) and thus their returns are inflated. There should be some automatic way of importing all trades just like covestor if this is viable and possible.

Better Than Covestor
Another great idea by Mr. Sykes. They shouldnt let traders pick and choose the trades they wanna post though. Im fixing to join but have some security concerns. I'll wait for the new version.
