Should be called successful trading conference
I went expected a typical 'Drink the Tim-Cool-Aid' type of Amway seminar. What I got was totally different and blew me away. If you expect to hear a lot about Tim and his Penny stock strategies then don't attend or buy the conference DVD buy his other DVDs instead.
If you want to listen and learn from very successful full and part time traders then you should have attended. In fact if had attended this first I would have never become a Tim Silver alert member if I had, as the other presenters presented more in line with my trading preferences (ie more breakout stocks and long positions and regular non-penny stocks.)
The conference started out with Tim of course explaining the 2 ways he makes money in Penny stocks. Trade conservatively in earnings breakouts in real companies and trade aggressively by shorting sham/scam companies.
The next presenter was Claran Thorton from BuySellShort.com and I have to say he came across as very arrogant. I did not think he presented anything different then the usual Tim strategies. I was not very impressed with his presentation.
Then Michael Covel from Trendtrading presented and it was a very good presentation even though I am of the opinion Michael should eat more of his own cooking like Tim does and stop profiling 3rd persons he worships.
The next presenters (Mike Harvrilla and Mike Messier) discussed breakout bio-tech stocks and really opened my eyes to this very profitable sector. (biorunup.com). I did not even know this stuff existed except for the occasional alert Tim sends out to short some scam company that is crashing and recommends a short position. They both seemed uneasy presenting although the presentation was invaluable and they should run their own conference on just this subject in my opinion.
Investors live presented and I was impressed how he makes money in a completely different fashion them Tim does. I was impressed how he explains how he should let his motorcycle get towed next time a profitable trade presents itself.
Then Mr. Goode from Reaper trades presented. He is also a very monotone presenter but the content is amazing. He makes a living off pumps getting in before the runup and exiting or shorting them like Tim on the way down. He revealed the analysis of the favorite pump promoters he trades against, this fact alone can make you a lot of money.
Then Tim Bohen presented with his foot rubbers on and I have to say I am impressed with this part time trader who supplements his income. He was not selling or pimping anything just sharing how us part-timers should handle trading and not let it ruin our lives or careers. I really enjoyed this.
John Welsh presented (not his real name) and he really didn't belong at a Penny Stock conference as he trades general stocks and equities but his method of dealing with losses is invaluable. He prides himself on losses and tries to cut them quickly. He basically approaches trading like a coin flip and lets the Winners run and stops the losers out. His winning percentage he clams is around 50% yet he earns 6 figures a year consistently with this strategy. He claims to only use price action, news and filings to make his decisions and NO CHARTS or technical indicators. No support and resistance for him. AMAZING..
Mellisa Davis (Milf Material) and Hunter Davis presented from the StreetSweeper and gave us the low down on how they expose scammy PennyStock companies. Eye opening but I could not keep my eyes off Mellisa as she looked so hot in her blue pants suit.
Godon Eckler spoke and opened our eyes to the world of backroom Pennystock company financing and the shady stuff that goes on hidden from the investors view. He gave me many things to look for when navigating the Penny Stock minefield.
Last and least was 'The Dean' who showed us how we could become Penny Stock promoters if we decide trading is not for us. He opened our eyes on how Pump and Dump works and how this shady industry works. His presentation although long winded and at times clownish was very useful. I wonder how sincere he really is on getting out of the industry and seems to be an attention whore. Overall his presentation, although excessive, was very useful.
I have to give props to Timothy Sykes who is secure enough in his own business to allow competition, opposing views and competitors to enter his space. I gained enormous respect for him because of this. He is not the prick you see on Livestock when you meet him in real life.
I would also like to thank Tims Mom (she is one hot babe) and TIms Dad. I could not imagine Timothy Sykes being the success or person he is without them.
