Charles Kirk is an amazingly hard-working, generous & genuine guy. His work ethic is outstanding. He shares a wealth of information on a daily basis which has helped me become more organized and strategic in my trading business. His chart video every weekend provides an insightful overview of the market. I use it to develop my trading plan for the upcoming week. Then each day, his Notebook helps me maintain focus on where the best opportunities are. I just wish I had found this site years ago.

I have been a premium member of the Kirk Report for more than 5 years now. As a professional investor who has been doing this for many years, it is hard to find new sources of ideas and people who can add to your knowledge. Charles Kirk is one of those people.

I have learned a great deal about trading from his site. To structure my view of the trading day, I rely on Kirk's Market Previews, intraday notes in his Notebook and Weekend Chart Shows. For $100/year, you get continously updated, real time, high quality content from one of the best traders in the world. As a professional investor, the Kirk Report is easily worth 10 times the price.

Best VALUE, most TRUSTWORTHY financial tool subscription.

I've subscribed to the Premium version for four years. Charles Kirk is a successful trader willing to share tons of ideas. Subscription includes a premarket and postmarket update, plus on-line Notes throughout the trading day.

Features I like best:

A weekly "Chart Show" (usually on Sundays) that covers pivot points, setups, patterns and trends. His commentary is in-depth enough for experienced Traders, yet explained well enough to initiate novices.

The "Stock Screen Machine": a monthly feature that presents a dozen screens built on fundamental AND technical tests. Although the tests used are kept proprietary, absolute transparency regarding stocks selected is revealed. Best of all, prices used for puchase are made the DAY AFTER THEIR SELECTION IS MADE PUBLIC!

Kirk also has a free Mentorship program. Potential attendees fill out a lengthy application. Around twelve people per year are selected. Meetings/classes are conducted via webinars and in-person. Best of all, he doesn't charge for the mentorship although attendees need to pick up the travel expenses.

Since signing up three years ago, your blog has been my number one source for guidance and market commentary. I really appreciate how well you write and how well you maintain the various sections of your site, as well.

Most importantly, it became apparent to me very early on that you are a person of character and someone who truly cares about helping your readers. It comes across in your posts, as well as with the extremely inexpensive membership fee you charge! haha. In all seriousness, there are many other sites out there that charge exorbitant fees for a pittance of the information that you provide. I know you are well aware of this.

Anyway, keep up the GREAT work, Charles. I am a better student of the market and of life for having the opportunity to visit The Kirk Report every day.

Best $100 you ever spent

As a way of introduction, I have been trading on and off for several years, and more seriously the last 2 years. For my day job, I am involved in finding therapeutics for Cancer.

I first read about Kirk Reports in an interview with Charles Kirk in Barron's and quickly subscribed to The Kirk Reports. What impresses me most about Charles is his labor to love to teach me or you "the little guy".

If you want to learn about trading, psychology and maybe learn about yourself, this is the site to subscribe to. I read somewhere that clearest window into your own personal psychology is trading-clearer than any other endeavor. You will receive nightly emails about day's action, but more importantly, few links to articles that will help you as a trader. Wekend emails are packed with articles that will change your life or at least they changed mine. Thanks for Charles, not only am I becoming a trader vs. gambler,but also a good leader at work. Interestingly, I have recommended The Kirk Report to several of my friends who aren't even traders.

If you are on the fence, don't hesitate. This would be best $100 you ever spent. Good Luck!

This is an actual, unsoliticted e-mail I sent to Charles Kirk, and to which he kindly responded. This is truly how I feel about The Kirk Report and Charles Kirk:

Hi Charles,

I’m a fairly new subscriber, I think I have less than a year under my belt with you. But I just wanted to say that I NEVER miss your weekend chart show, it has proved to be THE SINGLE MOST EFFEECTIVE investing tool that I have ever seen. It’s concise, informative, very well presented and understandable even by newbies like myself.

And for the price (or even at a MUCH higher price) you simply cannot be beat. No up-selling, so marketing hypes; just good solid information without a huge ego behind it pushing more products (which I find to be the common denominator of so many financial newsletters). It is SO refreshing to find someone who sincerely cares about his clients and presents ALL of the possibilities, what key indicators to watch, and doing all that in a completely professional manner. And then, you leave it to US, your readers, to use that information as we see fit. Which is as it should be in my humble opinion.

My portfolio has shown the results of your research and reports in a very positive way and my personal psychological approach to investing has matured as a result of your diligence. You have also restored my faith in the belief that there really ARE good people still out there who aren’t in the newsletter business strictly for the money. At least that’s my opinion of you. I consider you a very rare bird in this industry, a breath of fresh air.

p.s. After just watching this weekend's chart report I'm sorry to hear about your travails with the corporate 'watchdogs'. Personally I consider it a horrible invasion of privacy and since I'm a man and a dog operation my visits certainly won't create you any more problems than you're already dealing with. Perhaps you should charge those customers who create these problems a 'surcharge'!! Beats me what you might do, I just hope you can continue. I would pay more if necessary to keep your website going.

Great value

What I like with Charles' service is that you get the opportunity to learn how a other trader sees the markets. Kirk doesn't give you specific stock recommendations, rather he highlights major themes. His daily links give a good overview of what's driving the markets.

One warning if you are a active trader (and this applies not only to Charles' services): be aware that there is the risk that you become biased when you read 3rd party commentary. Make sure to follow your own strategy.
