Short and Sweet but short on trade ideas
Tech Ticker is an enjoyable bit sized interview web show, without a lot of the filler crap the networks jam you with.
The vids are short and sweet, contain text summaries if you don't wish to watch and run onto the next episode automatically. I often having them running in the background while I'm doing nightly scans.
The production values are cable Network quality and the commercials/ads aren't intrusive at all.
Aaron Task is the main gun here and while his own commentary isn't anything amazing he dopes ask the right questions.
Like Most interviewers in finance he's never very confrontational with his guests, although he will gently challenge them sometimes. That alone is unusual.
but what makes him truly useful is that he entertains outside of the matrix guests. He'll often talk to the best of blogosphere like Barry Ritzholtz and Mike Shedlock. But He'll also talk to the more unique main streamers as well like Gary Schilling and Robert Prechter.
Perhaps it's just reflective the state of the world today, but most his guests tend to be bears, negative nellies. They tend to talk about problems not opportunities. Tech Ticker is not going to make you money. But it will educate you on market conditions.
If Tech Ticker has another major downside is that the show is mid profile so it doesn't get many A-listers like a Jim Rogers or a Bill Gross. You'll also rarely ever see company officers on there either.
