The website Zignals is the most comprehensive online finance free resource available. They offer flexible platform that allows you to create financial blogs, read financial news and perform stock and market analysis. These tools include stock charts, alerts, screeners and portfolio managers. Although at time it may seem a little overwhelming due to the daunting numbers of features. It is definitely a tool to be used for an intermediate to advanced investor, who has prior knowledge about technical analysis.

It seems that one of the biggest issues with the website is the stability factor and response time. The website tends to have slow initial loading time and will often crash my browser for unapparent reasons.

The important element to note, is that Zignals is doing something that has been missing with all the other financial tools. They are integrating all of the important aspects of investing into a single component. That means less stops at other websites and an increase in productivity. It is poised for success on the condition that they keep the design simple and intuitive.

Buy/sell free SMS's

A great online free software with huge charting capabilities, strategy testing and my favorite feature: free buy and sell signals on your mobile by SMS, just as the market close.

Pro:
-free SMS signals;
-amazing charting;
-strategy testing;

Cons:
-strategy testing not so simple.

Zignals offers more than just stock charts, it is a complete financial solution housed within a unique Dashboard application. Create stock alerts, stock charts, active stock screen (the only site anywhere on the web where fundamantal scans are run daily and the results sent to your email account), portfolio manager, chart gallery, twitter news, watchlist and unique trading system.

Build your own mechanical trading strategies and sell them in the soon-to-launch MarketPlace. All trading strategies built and subscribed too are free during Beta.

Top Financial Site

I have used this website for almost a year now. The people who run the site are always making it better and upgrading it. I had contacted the site about expanding some of the features and they did it! You don't find that kind of attention for FREE just anywhere.

Zignals has features that I had not found anywhere. They are easy to use and did I mention free? I am a huge fan of the "Alerts" feature where I can customize an alert and a stock list to go along with it and receive emails (if I choose) or texts (again, if I choose) when the stocks in the list meet my criteria, so I don't have to hang out at the website or have to check in and see that a criteria was met 5 hours ago.

Zignals has a wonderful Screener feature as well. It allows you to see how many stocks meet each criteria that is inserted in your personal screen. Screening tools are hard to find and it is even harder to find a great one like this.

There is also a new feature in Beta I am playing with right now that allows you to come up with a Trading System. The system is created and can be backtested to see what kind of results it would yield. I am really excited about this new feature.

I am amazed to find ALL these features at one site.

Best Stock Alerts

Overall this site looks and works better than most of the other professional sites i've seen and is backed up by a dedicated and friendly team.

I've been using the "Stock Alerts" section for some time now and i'm still amazed at how fast it reacts to market movements. This section alone has kept me in the profit zone and i'm grateful for it. Whats even better again is that its free!

I've also been using the "Stock Charts" section which allows me to save my chosen indicators against almost any type of stock, ETF etc and again this too is free!

There is much much more to this amazing site but its just mainly the above that i've been using.

One suggestion I would like to make is as follows;
Due to the graphic intense nature of the site it seems slow enough at times to load and I believe it would make an immense difference if this was improved upon.

Zignals Is a Pathbreaker

I have followed Zignals for quite a while, but just recently kicked the tires on the new dashboard. This product has tremendous potential.

The strategy manager is a remarkable tool which not only back-tests your trading strategy (as far back as 2001), but it creates a transaction based portfolio which tracks your P&L. Not only does it create a strategy, but it will notify you when it's time to act on your portfolio.

The stock alerts manager is exceptional also, giving real time alerts on a number of criteria as they happen.

I have many of these tools with my current broker; however, they are in many cases either too cumbersome to use or they just plain don't work.

The only cons with the dashboard that I see for the moment is that the screen occasionally hangs when developing a strategy. Also, your data base for running a strategy is limited to 50 stocks (So you need to be vigilent in creating a very good useful screen for your data base).

I have back-tested a profitable, high reward/risk strategy for myself which I plan to use in the real world starting today.

Kudos to Declan and Zignals.

Setting the standard

I have watched this site develop over the past year. They have added sophistication and value that sets them above most other sites. By utilising the latest WEB technology they have created a POWERFUL usable investment tool. From the stock screener feature to the alerts feature I have not come across another site that compares with Zignals. And they haven't stopped yet. I predict this will become THE site to use.
I am now waiting for them to introduce Option chains. Well done Zignals.

Does this exist?

I hear zignals is a powerful real-time scanning and screener but the website is down so often and I can never get a chance to use it.

I'm giving a poor rating based on their servers unreliability
